    Buddy?

The Swans have been a better managed club compared to us, over recent decades. Buddy has been good for maintaining gate turnover... but not for silverware. I think he detracts from their potency, as a team.

... plumbing the depths, Super-m. By the way, would you hire him, or just tip him, head first, in the deep end ? ?
  3. Is he angry with this club ? or is he OK now ?

    Buddy?

Who else do they have on they're list that might interest us... instead of that OLD Budster.

Yeah but look what has happened to the Swans now. Clarko is no fool.
  6. Might be a good move, to shield him from any social media pressure that could come. Happy for him, or any who had fathers with BIG names with us... to go under Our radar, until they Bloom themselves, in their own good time. Can you imagine the fanfare and expectations from Us, on a kid like that... horrendous. .
  7. Be tough to do that, since Cottinwool are into him, and his brother is playing there. ... unless we already made some arrangement with Ed Langdon & Hi-Ho, last year, during the Hogan deals. It's interesting that last years Trade and Draft period, when we were after sMay... So were the Pies, big time. ..... Then, the Pies mysteriously vanished from the sMay negotiations. Freo played hard ball on the Lachie Neale deal with the Lions. Then all of a sudden late in proceedings, Dayne Beams had a 180* U turn, about staying with the Lions... he came out and stated he wanted to go to back to the Pies, which did happen... and that facilitated the Lachie Neale to Lions deal, Via pick trades... which in turn brought the Hogan negotiations back to life... and as we all now know... the Hogan deal then proceeded. Have we struck some kind of arrangement with Freo, back last trade period, for E Langdon ???... or even the Pies themselves ? (elliot) ?

Yep... too much about self, IMV. I have a distaste for him, every time I see him playing.
  9. We are the bastard child of the 'Mcc'. Unwanted, unattended, and left outside, wanting, needing, the 'listless' child.
  10. Unless its genuinely for medical reasons, to keep him going at this stage... don't use that arm all week, until gameday... have the injection, then use it... ice it, and do the same again ?
  11. ??? maybe he was instructed to not raise his Right Arm during training ? Until late in the week. Time will tell.
  12. Is there any commonality between when bookies covering their behinds, and us playing conservatively and losing. Just wondering if they occur simultaneously ? We don't seem to go so well when we're favourites.
  13. Upside... and optimistic view to an investment. Without care, for Us. We have had too many games to recover, which in turn is a mental disruption to our schedule. This has been shown to cause upsets in the past.

So watt your talking about... In club terms, is 'C'ulture. 'french', for Fish ? It's a big passe`, from me.
  15. What a great concept.. produces a real family togetherness. I love it. .
  16. I reckon we need Lewis this week to counter against the Saints manic pressure tactics. Lew has a calming influence for us, General ling the troops. After just the one win for us, the Saints will be trying to rattle our cage down back, and will be into jViney, etc. Lew, I think is a must, to be Our on-ground eyes and mouth. Less so, Re the Tiges, with their loss of crucial big-men.
  17. I suspect it could be a two week injury. No surgery at this stage, so must be bruising and strain... I reckon two weeks, Min'.
  18. Hawks are offering Patton now... apparently very happy with how he's responding in his Rehab.
  19. Totally agree 'LT'... offer him a 60% stake in the farm. We need an A grade Mid to polish the middle.
  20. I think we should go for Zac, but Not pay too highly. His age group suits us, as we are about to shed a couple of aged senior players. If he wants to come, then OK... but we pay less than they do, with they're COLA. Zac being 24Yrs, could help fill the void we have in our mid-aged players... adds depth to this, and our midfield Lewis, nJones and Garlett all come out of contract later this year... Lew will be finished, and Nate and Jeffy will be on reduced money, in they're next contracts. Zac should not be our 1st target... rather a supplementary pickup. We need to grab an A grade player for around the middle, prior to recruiting Zac. Our midfield is not as good as most thought it was... and with kids coming into clubs like Sam Walsh, cCurnow, hMcKay, Setterfield, Petrevki-Seton Lochie OBrien, Paddy Dow, etc, etc. We will be left behind again, starting in around 2 seasons time. We need to get back to the draft again this year to add more talent, looking fill the speed/skill void.

IMO, buddy likes the curtain around Sydney. He gets to do his stuff in relative anonymity. I don't think its he who wants to leave Sydney. . Each time WE, or others, takes a way too highly payed player off the Swans books, it will come back to hurt us, as it frees up the Swans to go spend on younger players we should be after. . Let them wallow in their own Buddy debt. .

Buddy is not a team, he is an individual. Individuals don't win Premiership Cups ... they just draw in crowds. ... and they cost too much from the cap.

    no
  24. We'll need another fit tall to come in. Keilty may get his go. With this it also effects the smalls we choose. Re the space we can create. I'd bring in the hardworking hard-running Lockhart against the Saints... and keep Jeffy for the Tigers ANZAC Eve clash. Not sure which game for Lewis. Preuss sounds like he is very bruised/strained in that AC joint. Foolish bump from that body position... get him right.
