He hasn't found his fluency in his kicking just yet, at AFL level... but today was better than last week. For him, Its just a mater of feeling more comfortable out there. I'm sure.

And lets remember, he has been messed up during past preseasons with ankle injuries... so hasn't really had big preseasons, for fitness. Again, last preseason (2018), was a shortened preseason for him, Re surgery, and so he had a delayed start to this season.

Re the wider contests, not just those near the middle. His game influence jumper 60%, in my books. X factor he is capable of, but not what we're looking for... its only a 'sugar icing',,, for occasions. Its a big work-rate that is what we really need,,, and this is where he improved this afternoon. And helped us to smash the Giants, around the contests. .

He did today, what has been hoped of him... its a start to a big career we hope.
