...and here's sam newman, doin' what 'slammin sam' does. Drags others down, & hits people when they're down. sam doing his best, & receiving a little comeuppance. .

By your post you must think we've been premiers for the past 10 years. Rose coloured glasses on your part, 'dmma'. If we were playing the lions in 2002 we would be put on our arszes. We have a long way to go, to get to our best possible. And every player on our list must improve. continually. Especially Petracca, and Tyson, ANB, Salem, Weide, Hogan, OMc, Frost, etc.

priceless.

Oh, FFS. you just coloured in my bad memories. This is certainly a way to bring the feet back down to mother earth. Maintaining the rage Demons.
-
He's showing a bit, for sure.
-
Lewie was good on the 'tiller arm'.
-
Dare we call it, non-conservative Footy?
-
LoL... we had better win the flag this year then, 'WJ'.
-
He hasn't found his fluency in his kicking just yet, at AFL level... but today was better than last week. For him, Its just a mater of feeling more comfortable out there. I'm sure.
-
And lets remember, he has been messed up during past preseasons with ankle injuries... so hasn't really had big preseasons, for fitness. Again, last preseason (2018), was a shortened preseason for him, Re surgery, and so he had a delayed start to this season.

No. Thats why we fail, when getting almost to the top. When nearly there, we stop trying harder. ease off. see, the treason why we don';t put teams away, the killer instincvt goes eve harder to crush teams. not easae up. Same for our players. Once we adore them,,, don't then soften them... FFS. Tracc, has a mountain to climb yet, in improvements. As do most of our kids.

Egggzactly 'sbf'... Exactly. This and other efforts were the difference, in his desire and his intensity... a much bigger game commitment and effort.
-
Do the right thing, at the right time... I think that's what your saying. ... so with confidence, his judgement will get honed to a needle like point. No, starting point is 'increased intensity', and get to much more contests wide. He did this today (intensity), and it really showed... and helped us. He's was getting in.... and getting to.... Re the wider contests, not just those near the middle. His game influence jumper 60%, in my books. X factor he is capable of, but not what we're looking for... its only a 'sugar icing',,, for occasions. Its a big work-rate that is what we really need,,, and this is where he improved this afternoon. And helped us to smash the Giants, around the contests. .
-
He did today, what has been hoped of him... its a start to a big career we hope.
-
de distributor.
-
Maybe, that was a turning point for him.? Has he improved much, since that time?
-
Take a little bow, Christian. Your intensity today, was a big step up... and a big help to the side, in today's win...

&&&& is only just gone 21Yrs of age.

Heres an article on him. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2018-04-26/lockharts-leap-of-faith-pays-off

He needs to fully commit consistently. Not just in front of Goody. And not just in font of finals.
-
Just in the nick of time, to develop him as replacement for Nev, in due course.

Copied from Kniightmare's AFL draft wrap June 2017 Victoria Country vs. Allies Defender Jay Lockhart, 21-year-old, 183cm, 69kg, earned the Lefroy Medal as Tasmania's best player. He used the ball cleanly off half-back, provided run-and-carry, took intercept marks and ducked through traffic. Lockhart collected 20 disposals, four marks and nine rebound 50s. http://www.espn.com.au/afl/story/_/id/19630178/knightmares-afl-draft-wrap-neafl-midfielder-jordan-keras-continues-dominate
