Farewell Jesse Hogan
He's the same player, but he needs the ball put out in front of him, to run at. 2 first Rnd picks doesn't mean 2 kids. It might turn into a Josh Kelly, or a Whitfield and Shiel. Maybe a Lachie Neale +,,, at end of 2018? The point is, its worthy of a discussion. And no disrespect at all, to Jesse.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
This is the obvious, M5. The injury occurred/was diagnosed, after the discussion started. It obviously should change things, and move the discussion to the back burner. Which then comes back next year, his contract year. Possible players of interest ? >>> https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/to-fremantle-dockers https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/to-west-coast-eagles Lachie Neale is a restricted free agent in 2019_ for just one.

Exactly. 10 yrs ago I believed things were done at end of season. Not now, do I,,, am I so naive. I think Barassi's return, was at least, 1Yr in the making, ahead of it happening.

Bull or Mutton?
Lets see how it unfolds, the remainder of this week. I think dutton needs time to 'soften' his image first if he's smart;,,, if he's impatient, he could cook himself, before he begins. If its a hostile takeover, then it will be a mess. And they will not recover from it. Its a time to be team first, around the world. 2012 was the beginning, I think, of the 'end times'. or,,, 'the time of troubles'. or,,, the beginning of 'No time'... ... the end of 'the old' Era... prior to the new beginning, 'Aquarius', 'New Time', the 'Female aspect of God'... Right now we are in 'Murphy's Law'_ if you like. Everything is breaking down, the climate, the democracies, all old power bastions, the church's, .... power bases of the old, are breaking down. Is this the beginning, of the return of god? ( not the churches model ).... We are all indeed starting to spin backwards. And the 'ring of fire', also is hotting up. Has been accelerating more, since 2012. I wish we still had our car industry alive, within our shores. Thanks Tony 'Rabbot'. The things I've read, everything is turned on its head. But definately NOT the end of the world. Nostradamus has us going on for another few thousand years yet. As do the Mayans. But, 'the bible', as far as I can see, ends now.

Shades of '87, albeit 31 years on
I didn't see any of them, growing up in a Carlton dominated household (father & big sister)... the blues took precedent in replays and news items. But mum was a silent submissive demon. I found out later on. Little me was always outvoted. Barrassi leaving for Carton was salt in the wound. Then Smithy being sacked was like an Earthquake. I remained a 'D'_ I was too young to understand that we WON, the '64 Premiership. And don't remember seeing the replay, let alone the game. .

Changes v GWS Giants
Yes but on the other hand... IF Petty had of taken to CHB for Melbourne, like a duck to a pond... he may have been a direct replacement for Lever. We wouldn't have broken stride, if it worked. It didn't this time; but for a one off match, was worth the risk... nothing ventured. Top 4_ not this year. Goodwin is doing a great job. He wanted Lever, was that wrong ? We payed too much, but we got the player. Who should he have played? Keilty? Smith ? TMc ? Hogan ? Pedo ? The Footy dept has steered us to the finals series, at the same time as we develop players under our main 22. .

What a fantastic Caricature of the Demon player. Can someone scan this Caricature in colour? edit: This CARICATURE is a well balanced and hungry Demon, Busy, with eyes looking ahead to the job at hand.

Bull or Mutton?
. Turnbull & Dutton have reached agreement. IMO. Similar to Hawk & Keating. A handover, when the price is right. I worked it out this time last night. Dutton has No chance outside QLD... at the moment. Hence his resignation of his immigration portfolio. And going to the backbench,,, but yet is on the campaign trail, re-badging himself. Turnbull will resign his leadership of the Libs and the country, just before Xmas shutdown of the Parliament. With the intention of not running at the next Federal Election. Turnbull's time is up. He, Turnbull will handover cleanly, the leadership to Dutton at this time, in a clean changeover of power. Dutton has 3 months, to realign his public image.

Hmmn, care factor. You have to care first, to have the ability to be hurt. The deepest hurt, is usually caused by our loved ones. no care, little hurt. .... ext': defeatisms. care-less, defeat comes easier... and hurts 'little'. >>> our clubs nemesis.

No, playing the man DD. You remind me of a wannabe TV star doing the rounds. Short on talent but will do anything to get a gig. This one, Andy Lee, happens to be a Carton supporter.

I've been hinting Wagner. For this reason, run speed. I was thinking run-with. Cover one of there hard running backs. Whitfield or other. Leave Fritta's role alone.

Hodge and Christian
I think M Crstn was brought in to manage and stop players from being suspended for minor infractions. A Sin-Bin would work, as long as it doesn't interfere, with say the Brownlow, for instance. You serve minor abuses in the Bin. If after the game, it appears the action was worse then just the sin-binning sanction, then another suspension may be added, and that should impact on the best and fairest. Yellow cards, and Red cards are just too inciteful, & then too heavy generally, and are too soccer. Not Aussie Rules culturally, and not suited a to a heavy contact sport. .
