GAMEDAY: QF vs Sydney
Our mids are playing ordinary. Defense keeping us in it.

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Carlton
This is going to script for all our losses. Plenty of inside 50s, a lot of effort for not much reward. I predict we'll get overrun in the 2nd half.

OUR USE OF THE SUB RULE
Agree, MFC missing a trick yet again as we are too nice.

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Both of those free kicks were there, our tackling last night in comparison to theirs was boys v men. Collingwood are a tough as nails team and we are their bitchezzzz.

Demons won't win the flag in 2022.
I agree with the original post. Its as clear as day this group doesn't have the hunger to become a dynasty team. We have come up short against all the contenders and even some that aren't anywhere near it. Unless we have the game completely on our terms and put a decent 6-7 goal gap on the scoreboard (which hasn't happened much this year, especially against top 8 teams), the oppo know they're a big chance against us. Our game plan is far too conservative to win close games especially if we have to come from behind. That last 4 minutes was like watching a car crash in slow motion, at no point did i think we could win it once we coughed up the lead. And finally, we cant win big games at the MCG this year. We are just making up the numbers this year. I hope the media pundits absolutely give it to Trac, Gawn, and Pickett this week. We need bump from somewhere to try and get a spark into this team.

Yep, whatever it is that he's "Selwyning", clearly the players aren't buying ît. I'll see myself out.

We are crap at the MCG give me an away game any day of the week, seems to galvanize the team

CHANGES: Rd 22 vs Carlton
Imagine if you counted the pressure acts he brought on himself due to fumbling, two grabbing at balls and not having any peripheral vision , let alone agility in traffic. The bloke runs in dead straight lines. Needs to be dropped. Bring in JVR, its time. Our system needs at least two genuine tall marking targets.

My 3 word player analysis V Collingwood
Petracca - watch last quarter There is some absolutely damning vision of him for those that care to review it. Shadow of the player he was last year. Gawn - take some ownership ANB - had a gutfull Koz - Notabig game player (went missing, just like in the GF) Cant be bothered, livid with those 4 though

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Max missed two sodas, Salems gift after the siren should've been routine, Melksham decides to snap on his left from 35m out in a 45 degree angle instead of earning his goddamn coin and slotting what was a routine drop punt goal. Keep teams in it and get overrun when you can't stop their momentum. Pretty consistent pattern this season. We are crying out for another competitive talk forward. Or game plan doesn't work when we are continually beaten in the air up forward.

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs Collingwood
Petracca picks and chooses when he wants to show up, 2nd worse game I've seen him play behind the Freo loss. Gawn terrible, ANB an absolute momentum killer, Koz anonymous, the entire back seven were terrible tonight. Definitely not going back to back this year.

CASEY: Rd 19 vs Northern Bullants
Surely JVR would offer more than Weid? Get him in I say.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
Dogs are pathetic mind you, how did we lose to this team? They have collectively poo'd their pants like no team I've ever seen.

NON-MFC: Round 20, 2022
I hate to admit it, but Cats look scary

POSTGAME: Rd 20 vs Fremantle
Indeed, having a genuine dual-sided player is such a weapon in the centre. He must be a nightmare to defend. It was a tie for BOG between Gus and Viney for mine. I cant remember Gus making a bad decision all night, and his tackling and pressure was off the charts. Great game. Salem on the other hand...is not the same player as 2021. Too often beaten in 1v1s and his kicking lacks penetration and precision.

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Geelong
Salem needs a spell. Has looked terrible since his return and tonight was his worst yet. His kicking lacks penetration and precision. Work on it at Casey.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
My take is that its not gun key forwards we need, but rather decent ball users in the midfield. Let's face it, the guys who are delivering most of the inside 50s are Oliver, Viney, Trac, Nibbler, Langdon, Spargo, Harmes, Sparrow, Jordon the rucks and often BBB. Out of those the only decent kick is Spargo, sometimes Trac and Jordon. The rest are very average, especially when under any kind of pressure. It sucks that our best ball users are either backmen (Salem & May) or forwards (Fritsch & Spargo). Petracca is really starting to annoy me with his lack of defensive efforts. Clarry could be better at this too, but you can't have it all. I think we're going to have to think about a more balanced combination in the guts. Having Clarry and Trac in there is weighted too heavily towards offence. I would have one or the other at every centre stoppage but not both. Maybe Harmes needs to see more centre minutes. He used to be awesome at negating the opposition's best mid, and by god, we could sure use some negating.

Farewell Luke Jackson
Doesn't time his jumps well at all. His centre work was a bit better today but nothing like the GF.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
How did this team win a flag!?! Honestly, a bunch of one way runners when the game is on the line. Don't worry, Ive already filed a missing persons report for Mitch Brown.

We will murder the filth on Monday.
One thing's for sure, if we enter forward 50 in the same fashion as the last two games we will lose.
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
Have noticed him going to ground a lot in the centre ruck contest. Wonder if oppo coaches have identified this as a tactic to nullify his influence. Take him off his feet and he's no longer a fourth midfielder.

My 3 word player analysis v Sydney
Not saying he wasn't good, but there's no va va voom, x factor, call it what you want. I call it vanilla. I'm concerned about our up and coming midfielders.

CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
One of the good things about Bedford is he's not afraid to actually have a shot on goal. Nibbler and Spargo poo their pants every time they get the ball inside 50.
