  1. Love the consistency between the Trengove and Gibbs decisions. Makes a good change for once. For those knuckleheads like "Duck" Carey out there that think banning Gibbs is turning our sport into soccer and getting rid of physicality, you can get your fill of neanderthals trying to hurt each other in a vast number of other sports like Boxing, MMA, and the rugby codes.
  2. Thanks for posting. Wishing these guys all the best in their future.
  3. If he was good enough, I would have thought that Melbourne circa 2012-13 would have been the perfect place for him to cement himself as a top 22 player in an AFL club.
  4. 1) Vince 2) Jones 3) Gawn 4) Viney 5) Dunn 6) Brayshaw Apologies to the rest of the team who all deserved a share of these votes.
  5. Our future sure looks bright with Gus Brayshaw and Jack Viney. Such a good win. Can't believe that the two rucks worked so well. This must be a tactic we use more often now surely? Worked an absolute treat. What an awesome win.
  6. well, i feel pretty weak to have wagered so conservatively. Nonetheless, I'm pinching myself, and I'm not waking up. Go Dees!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Was debating whether to watch this on tv or not, hats off to those who are actually going to the ground.
  8. Won't be that sad to see him go, frustrating player of which we have too many. Will not or cannot take the next step.
  9. Like your optimism jazza. Can you let us in on who's on that list of yours?
  10. Roos' performance on AFL 360 this week was frankly embarrasing. He's clearly to blame here.
  11. Misso's injury report's a cracking read this week isn't it? Holy smoke! Outs: Grimes (inj) Pedersen (inj) Neal Bullen (omit) In: Dawes, Fitzpatrick or Newton (depending on fitness), M Jones reprieves for Gawn (must be given a benchmark to take at least 2 contested marks a game) and Michie (no subs vest please, make Stretch the sub). Fitzy to play fwd/ruck, Lumumba to the backline in place of Grimes, Matt Jones to the mid rotation, Stretch to wear the vest. Are we going to see Terlich any time this season?
  12. The curse continues, I reckon we'll be lucky to top our wins tally from last season.
  13. I agree with this, but on the other side of the coin, how bittersweet is it when you're doing the old AFL app shuffle when we're in with a chance in a game. That's happened to me twice in recent memory. Last year vs the Crows when I was doing the food shopping and this year vs Richmond when I was stuck at a date night dinner with Mrs leucopogon. Needless to say she wasn't all that impressed with me and my iphone.
  14. We all remember our great win against Essendon last season. But have another watch and listen to Jason Dunstall commentating on us not getting numbers back after Salem kicked the go-ahead goal. Seems we didn't learn the lesson from that experience. Maybe because we ended up winning that game. We must have the dumbest bunch of players of the whole comp.
  15. hypothetical: would you trade Hogan and our first pick for Fyfe?
  16. Agreed, but the bloke needs to work on his kicking from long range, can't make the distance from 50 most of the time. We need him to be the whole package.
  17. What's with Jetta continually flying for the big marks and spoils? Came off once today for him luckily, but I'm astounded he keeps doing this and leaving his opponent to gather the crumbs uncontested at ground level. Far from our worst though. I'd be dropping Michie in a heartbeat. Also, Gawn can go back to Casey and learn how to either mark the ball or punch the damn thing over the bloody line. How many times will he shoot our team in the foot by spilling a mark at the goal mouth? I think ANB looks way off the pace and should go back to Casey as well. In: Spencer, M Jones, Fitzpatrick, Terlich Out: Gawn (omit), Michie (omit), ANB (omit), Pedersen (inj) Alternatively, as we are stuck with M Jones and Terlich until next season, maybe we bring in Bail and McKenzie to see if they have what it takes to salvage their AFL careers.
  18. If PJ doesn't send in the letter applying for one, i'll happily draft it for him, olisik right, this team needs as much talent as it can possibly get. Still far too many NQRs
  19. I think it's fairly clear we need to get an a grader in like a Judd style trade. Trade in a captain.
  20. Agreed, this is hogans biggest weakness for sure.
  21. My 7 year old: I'm starting to get in the mood to stop supporting them. They're too bad at footy. Gutted. Might have lost a supporter for life right there. Bunch of dumb cnuts.
  22. Back to casey Riley and Michie, Neal-Bullen a mile off being AFL ready as well.
  23. My ANB bonfire could do without you urinating on it Glenn, thank you very much
