  1. Does "kicking in danger" exist anymore? Sainters did this a number of times.
  2. I was watching him prior to the game starting and he was kicking those goals from 50m out. I know no pressure etc. I still believe his kicking smarts have not left him but unfortunately his finishing skills have diminished. I agree DD it was not his worse game tonight but definitely not good enough to keep him in the side against St. Kilda. I hope though they are able to find 2 games for him before his contract finishes.
  3. Kick ins are so predictable especially from May. He just seems to wait for Max to arrive, Just occasionally go down the middle or to Ed,. A number of times today Langdon was standing unmanned but still May and Rivers didn’t go to him.
  4. Whose big face will you be holding or will you take on the bulls eye
  5. Would that study apply to those players who contracted the Delta variant which seemed to have had harsher symptoms but not as virulent as Omicron. Also in March 2020 had they been vaccinated. Obviously we are all hoping that because they are young and fit and vaccinated that they will be available asap after iso.
  6. Would be great when Yze walks out on the ground there is a rousing OOOOZE that greets him.
  7. 6. Oliver 5. Gawn 4. May 3. Petty 2. Langdon 1. Sparrow
  8. I just dont want Weideman to get in Brown's marking area. I much prefer Brown's marking and kicking ability to the Weid's. If it's coming into Browns area just pull another tall defender out of the area. Isn't that how we have been playing - an emphasis on the team rather than the individual. The same goes with Brown in Weid's area. I have just got this memory of Weideman playing at some stage in the seniors and him spoiling rather than being more tactical.
  9. WCW, Good to have you back and obviously over the brain fog. You know I'm sure there are some D'Landers who know people who know other people who could fix your problem very quickly🤫 Otherwise the ignore button is always there🤗
  10. Daisy did name the sponsors. What concerns me is that there seems very little talk from the Club about retaining her at the Club either in a coaching or administrative capacity.
  11. I reserved tickets for my son (member) and myself a couple of weeks ago. I would definitely ring Club Services and ask if it is fully sold (doubtful) but also if you are able to walk up and get a seat.
  12. Your generosity shows no bounds😈 Hope it is only mild!
  13. Trac was looking down at Bontempelli's leg so obviously Bont blaming that on the Doggies loss
  14. I thought I was going mad when I saw 31 down there. My son said that Langers was resting in the forward line so that was why Bailey was there. No one can substitute for Langers and certainly Bailey doesn't have the speed so I'm not sure of the rationale for putting him there. But who am I to query a Premiership Coach. He can do no wrong in my eyes. How was the noise in the first quarter. Reminds me of the finals against Geelong and Hawthorn. Spine tingling. I thought Max played an exceptional Captains game. His goal steadied the ship. I love the love between Trac and Ollie. They just know where each other is. I also thought the game was played with very little spite despite the media and AFL hyping it up pre game.
  15. Harmesy is a wonderful pest. Geez I'm leaving soon. I can't take anymore waiting around.
  16. I suppose it's a bit like when the rule came in not to move off the mark, after a couple of games no one noticed it. However that AFL article has set up those umpires for ridicule - at what point dont the umpires feel belittled and what happens if "excuse me sir but can I ask a question" is taken as wasting time. This new rule is understandable for obvious aggression towards the umpires but is also too subjective as to what one umpire thinks is "belittling" and another doesn't.
  17. Only problem is that they get a priority pick.
  18. Just reading the Hawthorn family day promotion there is no mixing with the players.. I wonder if the main reason for the popularity of family day is this availability of some contact with the players. Would the same numbers attend if they were not available for the usual close contact. Historically there has always been the Club training/BBQ on the weekend before the first game at Gosch’s which was always well attended by families because of the Club made the players available for chats and autographs but obviously this is not available this year. Hopefully the players will be able to make their yearly calls to Juniors which I think they do around the beginning of the season. If you want to support the Club buy the kids some more merchandise which goes straight back to the Club.
  19. Could it be that they are taking a really safe approach to the players mingling with supporters as Covid is still out there in the community.
  20. How did the umpire know Trac wasn’t angry at himself.
