Looking at you WCW😁 -
I'm sorry DGirl he might be a mate but he is [censored]. I have a similar "mate" who is a Collingwood [censored]. Why oh why.
-
I might be biased but if this goes to the tribunal there is no chance of the AFL allowing a whiff of a possibility that we beat Essendon next week. One week. Batards!!!
-
so different to the original Beema.
-
There is arrogance and confidence. Reid looks like he has been reading too much of the West Australian. Kolt has confidence - big difference.
-
Not that it matters to anyone here, but did anyone else hear the WC player swearing at McGovern for not kicking it to him. It was on the wing on the MCC members side either the 3rd or last quarter. We heard it up on level 2. They are falling apart and now today media is all over that WC players want a new voice. I would be furious if I heard any MFC player abuse a team mate for not taking them as an option. I love watching Maysie and Lever after every goal (even ours). It is always so intense then a love fest.💙🧡

and their Mums -
They are consistent with us! It feels like it is becoming a bit "them and us" situation.
-
That is amazing given recent losses. I can remember when we used to get 500 and we thought that was good. It bodes well that the kids haven't given up on us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He has been training and now full training for some time but he has had a minor set back a little while ago but not his knee. Coming back through the reserves were his words. Personally I would hope one week at Casey only because of the length of time he has been out. But would I be surprised if he came straight back in?
-
He looks the fittest he has ever been (apart from the obvious injury) but has said that he will come back with a couple of games at Casey. After being out of the game for so long even training doesn't give you the match fitness that is required now. He would be a great inclusion to the forward line not only for his ability but because of his football nous. During his time away recuperating he has been on the bench during games talking with the forward line players when they come off. If he doesn't get another contract for 2025 maybe we have a coach in waiting.

If she did say that why not just say I didnt see the incident but its not something that we as a club condone. I would have personally added "but it's an action that happens every weekend".

POSTGAME: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne
Longsufferingnomore replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not sure if anyone else noticed but Petty's first mark bought all the players to him. To my eye there is just something else going on with Harry at the moment. Maybe it is a personal issue that came to light in the Brisbane game or just really down on confidence but certainly his mates got around him at the time. -
You could give up your day job..............

Melbourne Rebels are no more

I was at Eden Park the last time that we beat NZ. It felt very good given the frenzy that the Kiwis were in after losing to the Aussies. Many years later I have got to appreciate Rugby so much so that if there is a good game on I would prefer to watch Rugby over AFL. I am even known to watch Irish Club games. It is a brutal game which is slowly coming to terms (at a much slower rate than AFL) with concussion issues. Rugby will die in Victoria without having our own Club despite what Rugby Australia says. I don't doubt that RA have absolutely no money but something inside me reminds me of how cricket was dominated by players from N.S.W. not so long ago. They cannot wring anymore money out of the TV Rights so they were never going to accept the Consortium's model. The Club had no chance to survive this time around. Phil Waugh is in la la land if he thinks the Maori and Islander communities will stick with Rugby Australia. They will head straight over to the Storm. What really makes me mad is that RA had to announce it just before the team were heading off to fly to Fiji to play in their first final against the Drua. Great timing! -
Welcome to Demonland: Shane McAdam

I just think he needs time to gel with the forward line who have played together for sometime. The footage of his ability when he was originally recruited looked like exactly what we need down the forward line and with time adjusting to how we play he will be exciting to watch. -
I was on at 10.20 and level 1 was sold out and level 2 at single seats.

Umpiring (Demonland in meltdown)
Longsufferingnomore replied to spirit of norm smith's topic in Melbourne Demons
It was that peanut with a hair band. He was mouthing off as well last year to our players. I have never seen Max so angry as he was last night after a free was given. I think it was down near the goals. I was waiting for one of the players to go ape at the umpire. I thought Harry was going to get penalised at one stage. -
The upgrade at Casey Field was funded to the tune of $5mill by the State Government and look at the positive outcome for the local community. Watch when we need funds for Caulfield there will be zilch. Four million could go to improving the ambulance system, health system, education system I could go on but no it goes to a safe Labor seat and only benefits the Geelong Football Club who already makes millions from benefits afforded to the Club by the State Government..

I think there is a stark difference to H and Jackson in the same situation. Jacko didn't play well and looked glum. He knew that he was going home. I think if Petty had continued to not reach the standards he wanted he would go home. He looked so relaxed and enjoying being part of that experience on Saturday night I wouldn't be surprised that the contract is signed fairly soon. I also believe that he is a down to earth no bulldish kind of person and once he has made up his mind he will sign.
