  1. Big Pass, nothing in those highlights says he is got the mongrel to be a player.
  2. Suspect they have done that and know that answers Doubt they will air them publicly The question will be whether the coaching staff change the game plan or continue with the same old same old that got them to second on the ladder I hope they add variety because clubs have worked us out and the predictability killed us 8 x 90 pts or more scored against us vs 2021 only one did that happen.
  3. If BBB plays like he did in the final third of the season then he should never play again in the red and blue. Moved like the mechano man in cement and had Chris Dawes concrete hands.
  4. At the risk of stating the obvious its got nothing to do with how many disposals a players has. It's what he does with them, how he plays to teams structures and how he competes against him opponent.
  5. Sure did: Melbourne has lost Jackson, who is going to be an A-grade player, given how athletic he is and the fact he has played well in a premiership. I thought if they needed to get salary cap relief to bring Grundy in, they could have given up a James Harmes, Ed Langdon, Jayden Hunt or Charlie Spargo type. Maybe even an Alex Neal-Bullen. Langdon is coming off a very good year, but they are the sort of players Melbourne can cover because they have a lot of them on their list.
  6. According to Buckenara we should move Ed on. What a peanut.
  7. In terms of a breakout - ie shown potential but not put it together consistently - Tom Sparrow for mine. Has all the tools, needs a bit more composure and needs to nail his disposal more often. Does that and he becomes a bona fide weapon.
  8. He always stops and props. Completely destroys momentum. So much so that I suspected he has been instructed to do this to allow the mids to move forward.
  9. One of my faves Seemed to stagnate a bit this year tho but is young and gaining more confidence every game. He is very lucky to be playing in the shadow of two potential legends and can go on learning the caper without undue pressure. Looking fwd to a big '23
  10. Himmelberg has been reinvented as a defender. He was an ordinary fwd IMO He's also an academy player I believe so might be hard to prise out of GWS
  11. It seems we call it his last season every year but boy has he been an important cog for us. Would love for him to continue uninjured into 2023
  12. IF he can get back to his 2021 form he could be a valuable player If not he should never play again for the red and blue. His second half of the year was abysmal. He looked like the mechano man running in concrete and his in ability to take a clean grab was devastating. We clearly need TMac to come back all healed
  13. Like the look of this lad....
  14. Well its a palindrome for a start....
  15. That is so facetious :) (oh, snap!)
  16. Probably was. He would have been mentioned in an array of 'possibles'. Suggest there were no takers. Or clubs thought they could punt the free agent/rookie market for him.
  17. Dogga will be under the most pressure of any footballer in the State of WA. And they are pretty feral when it comes to under-performance. He is in for a torrid ride
  18. The Rat pack of Libba and Hunter is likely what Dunkley was sick of. He alluded to behavioural issues for several years Fingers crossed he has had a wake up call.
  19. Interesting only 1 mark in that highlights package. Says it all really. Lovely bloke and I wish him all the best but we have to keep the list turning over.
  20. The same people lamenting Weid leaving lamented Oscar McDonald leaving.
  21. Maybe you could have a contract that witheld say 20% and should they request to 'go home' it is forfeited... If the club decides to move them on any monies witheld will be paid out... Might make players think twice about breaking contracts...
  22. Oscar is a B Grader according to Buckenara! And we should have traded Langdon because we have too many similar players. Seriously he is a peanut.
  23. Tim Lamb comments are spot on I reckon “We don't get tied up in the minutiae of every little deal, which I think is an approach that we take, which allows us to get deals done generally in a timely fashion. “If you look at Luke (Jackson) going out, Brodie’s come in. We've lost Jayden Hunt as a free agent and Lachie Hunter comes in. Kade Chandler will come up from the rookie list to replace Toby Bedford, who we lost. Sam Weideman goes out, Josh Schache comes in. Then we've got a much-improved draft hand.”
  24. Will always be grateful to Jacko for helping secure a Premiership and his 3rd qtr in the GF was scintillating. But... he is dead to me now. I'll show as much loyalty to him as he has to us.
  25. TMac will come back and JVR will play round 1. So as much as I like the idea of Petty fwd it wont be standard fare week in week out.
