From an assistant coach....Sounds about right. His knee was pretty cooked and a 4 year deal takes him to 32 I think. There are some who thought it was too much in value and length....

Media looking at hypotheticals. They have to fill pages, columns and tv time Fa get it, he is going nowhere
-
Its the antithesis of his personality An antonym if you like, A very Aussie thing to do. Think 'Rowdy'
-
Its a fine line isn't it? He's a good player and a hard match up. But he gets quite lippy if the mids don't put it on a silver platter to him then he burns people in a better position. And sometimes he looks so casual when he takes a shot that ends up missing. Frustrating but I guess we take the good with the bad. During last years finals we did lots of chip kicks to players in better positions. Earlier this year we lost that. The Brissy game we started to get better at doing that.

My recollection is BBB knocked back a 3yr $750k a year deal at North - he wanted 4yrs and the 3yr offer was withdrawn - and in the end took a 4yr $400k a year deal at Melbourne,
-
He burns a lot of team mates though. I think thats a flaw in his game he needs to eradicate.
-
Saw him at the Brissy game wth his ankle in plaster and riding a mobility scooter. He is a long way off.

Adelaide beat us last year (ignoring the howler of an umpire's decision at the end) by holding on to the ball and chipping at targets Seedsman ran amok in both games last year but won't be playing due to concussion issues. That leaves Keays and Crouch as their two prolific ball winners. If we bring pressure like we did against the Lions then Adelaide don't have a chance but let them run loose without pressure then they will feel confident. Walker always seems to play well against us but I feel May has him covered. That leaves Fogerty who is hot and cold and Petty is likely to get him Don't give em a sniff Dees and keep the pressure on.
-
He can earn 700k for the next 2 yrs with v little pressure and the chance of footy immortality. The contract after that will secure him for life. If he jumps for the big deal at 21yo who knows what might happen but the pressure to perform will be enormous.

He has only hit the ground 5 times. Plus 7 x the sub where he hasn't played. Doesn't look overawed at all. Slotted straight in

I think you misunderstood his post.

Ran into a Champion Data guy at the footy the other day. He said there were 6 people doing the stats at the game as well as a team back at the office going over replays and ensuring decisions called during the game were correct. I suspect the maximum at a VFL game would be 2 although could even be 1 such is the cost.
-
Weird Stats In such a dominant display only two of our players scored more than 73 DT points Maybe it was just a super - even spread of contributors?

He got hold of Joel Smith last time. Suspect Hibberd will be a better match up
