Not really. Rory Sloane is a hardened body He is 182cm and 78kms. Grimes is 187cms and 84 kgs. Jack Gunston looks thin but is strong. There is plenty like that. And BTW lots of players look lean in the flesh and younger than you think.

It's not hindsight WB. Many here including me were calling for changes. Roos himself said they made a mistake going in unchanged after a 6 day break last time. The forecast rain was 30-50mm - it was never going to be dry weather football. And they were fresh. IMO it would have made a difference - not enough to win but a stupid selection decision in any case.

At the point where OMac was trying to mark (around his body rather than front on) Rohan was only 4-5m away from him and bearing down. You simply can't say he wasn't under pressure. Nor can you say Rohan was 15-17m away. There is also inferred pressure. His numbskull brother just kicked it to him directly in front of goal on a wet day.

You probably need to read his 300 posts on the topic to really get teh feel for what he is thinking. But I wouldn't bother because most of his rantings are ego driven drivel.
-
How is that bizarre? It's exactly what they did in the Bailey era.
-
says you.
-
Of course he is a hardened body. You don't have to be 'big' to have a hardened body.
-
A wet day in front of goals? Yeah that's pressure of itself let alone someone that doesn't have a huge amount of confidence.
-
Grimes and ANB were the two obvious ones I would have thought. Both hard bodies, good at ground level, good footy smarts, accumulators and more well suited to playing on the Sydney mids..

Is there even such a thimg as a second world country??

Apalling decision from a senior player. OMac was under a lot of pressure. Wouldn't have thought it needed explaining.
-
Yeah cos Bailey went down that path and .........oh, hangon a minute....
-
Can't agree with the Grimes comment. He would have added a lot more than some out there, like Kent for example. Jetta was woeful but they were never going to replace Jetta for Grimes. Nonetheless his body size, experience, smarts and desperation would have added a lot.

What the fark is Tom Mac kicking across goal for?????????????

Swans have played 2 games in the past month in saturated conditions. They will be pretty sore already you would think...
-
Latest forecast 20-50 mm of heavy rain. Might give us a chance.....all out with bye next week
-
You're a cynic. They tell us sea levels will rise 2cm in 100 years and I believe them...
-
They don't drain very well when there is 20-40mm of rain in a short space of time.....

You have already made it clear that English isn't your strong suit so I'll try and use small words for you. This site is for opinions but when you say its "clear from what Gerard Healy says...' and go on to make statements that give your assumptions (is that too big a word for you?) about you think GH means and then claiming it as virtual fact what Tom's manager did or didn't say means you are taking the leap into speculation. Then you go on to deny it and accuse others of being breathtakingly arrogant. Good stuff pal. Our free education system clearly isn't working. If you want to have opinions, great. Just don't claim them to be something other than that.

I reckon that guy was spot on!

On what basis could they withdraw say OMac. A feigned injury or does there have to be a legitimate Doctors certificate (or similar!)

Last time we had a 6 day break Roos say they erred by not changing the team, can't see him not changing it....
