Hard to get excited about that win OD. Great for those that do but for me it epitomised our season and there is nothing to be excited by that.

I saw different vision on "On the Couch" and while the decision looked correct I was more interested in the process of whether it was automatically reviewed as a matter of course when its a point. Goals are supposedly reviewed automatically but I am not sure about points. And by the time the ball was kicked it was almost game over before a review could have taken place. IF it was an incorrect decision what would have happened?

Supposedly every goal is reviewed but not sure about points. And even if it was reviewed, what were they going to do? The ball had travelled past the wing in a flash. Would they stop the game and bring the ball back? unlikely. Like a lot of things AFL it is rules on the run. They make it up as they go along.

I'd say many here could see how the game would pan out after we were almost double their possession tally (220ish to 120ish I think in the 3rd qtr) and only 22 pts ahead. Not that you could predict the injury tally but hardly surprised that a lowly ranked team we hadn't put away would rally to take the lead in the closing stages. This is what calibrated expectations and why some weren't jumping through hoops over the win. Its all so predictable with this team. If there is a way to snatch defeat from victory they will try to find a way

So the kick in strategy appeared to be kick it to pruess at every opportunity yet rarely did we have a crumber on the ground next to him. Carlton sharked the ball on a dozen occasions. Man we just play dumb football at times.

OMac has been gifted games due to our lack of tall defenders. Simple Our backline has leaked like a sieve for years and we have been in the bottom 2 for defending one on ones. Hence our recruiting of Lever and May. OMac may make but i can't see it.
