Recruiting like Geelong rarely works altho it has them up there for a long period. I reckon they would trade all those finals appearances for one more flag. You could argue hawthorn tried it and succeeded to a certain extent but its an awfully big fall if you get it wrong. Brisbane tried in 2004 as well going for a 4 peat - arguably worth trying with a reduced ageing list. West Coast look like they are at the cross roads and could easily drop away sharply. Collingwood has no cap space and no draft picks so could be in trouble as well. Its a fine balancing act and ever since they brought in trading future picks its been a bit of a lottery as to how that has worked out. We shouldnt be cocky but I think we are in safe hands..

It was mainly they walked out the 'front' of our centre square bounces i the 2nd qtr. The rest of the stoppages I seem to recall weren't that bad...we then made the appropriate adjustments at half time.
