Fast also. Geelong- Chapman- Spotlight has gone on him so far Hawthorn- Rioli - Had a huge season so far Melbourne- Bennell and Davey- Bennell has been a good recruit but Davey has been in career best form. North Melbourne- Ziebell- Hard at the ball and good skills Port Adelaide- Gray- Good player who has stepped up from a no name player to a forward target. Richmond- Nahas- Class recruit after a few years VFL experience St.Kilda- Farren Ray- Has come from the Bulldogs and cemented his spot in a tough market and lifted his form. Sydney- Hall- Has played a better year after being out of touch West Coast- Josh Kennedy- Shown to be a good forward target for the eagles in the past couple of games Bulldogs- Josh Hill- Hard to single out one for the dogs, but Hill has shown good omens as a small forward

CH was right about the fact that Miller should have kicked the goal, those kicks are meant to be bread and butter for him. But on Footy Classified last night he said that us supporters were happy with the miss, for him to even suggest that is stupid, I for one wasn't happy with the miss. I don't believe in tanking but all I know is that we had our chances to win the last 2 games and it is frustrating for me to see us at 1-7 at this point.

No, a round 8 victory over the dogs would help us get off bottom spot, which is what I want.

We can protest as much as we like, but if we do have to play at the Dome why wouldn't you come and support the team for a game in Melbourne? I know I don't like the Dome anywhere near as much as the MCG, but why abandon the team if we do have to play there. I don't think a poll is necessary.

This is ridiculous. 5,000 Melbourne supporters won't turn up if it's at Docklands. That is just my estimate. I have a reserved seat in N49, if this game is moved to Docklands, will reserved seat members sit on the doug hawkins wing like the other home clubs do at the Dome?

35,651 at the MCG. It would be hard to see us get something in the 40s. 27,821 was the crowd last time at the G in Round 2 2008. Just hope the weather's good.

On current form, we should win 6-7, which I would like. I wouldn't mind if we won 4, but looking at the fixture, if we don't win games that are rightfully ours, I won't be happy.

Hannabal, i'm not joking. It would be great to see Stef play on Aka, he could hold him right out of the contest. Martin plays well on shorter opponents. I don't think there is much height to contend with at all, unless Minson goes forward for some of the game.

Yea, i'm wondering who they will both play on. Martin on Aka would be a thrilling contest, and Warnock might stick on Johnson or maybe Welsh if he plays.

The talk of JB being dropped was stupid, he is been nearly our best performer in the team throughout the year, and looks like he will develop a McLeod type role throughout his long career.(yes, i'm that confident with Bennell.) Won't miss a game for the rest of the year(unless injured) 19 possessions on the weekend and he has averaged 15 or thereabouts. The sweeping defender is a gun. Is he actually 68 Kgs? He looks more like 75 I reckon, unless he has put 7kg on this year.

BT is a good radio commentator, but he is absolutley clueless on every aspect on footy, and he makes a fair load of stuff up. He is a load himself. I don't think he holds a grudge intentially, he is just stupid. I heard that Warnick as well, I mean can't BT just use common sense to get the names of players right?

It was great to see a bit of biff in the game yesterday, I thought I saw a reportable offence from an Eagles player. I can't remember who it was, maybe LeCras.

I don't have anything against Maric. I think he is a good player at times, but I think he needs that extra few weeks to prove that he is capable as an AFL player. His disposal of the ball had improved from last week's game, but I don't think he should be rushed in where there isn't much room to improve for him. I also think another player could do his role and make Maric's slightly different. I don't know how my own opinion can be "Worst post ever"

Great article, I read it this morning. Very sad to hear about what Clint has gone through, and It's good to hear that it hasn't affected his desire to play for the team. Losing his Dad just before a game must've been tough.

Kick at the G is a great idea, but I have heard that it can only be done for the last game of the round at the MCG (and as long as it isn't wet, and the ground conditions are good). So I think that means we can do it for Fremantle, Port Adelaide and West Coast as they are all last games at the MCG for the round. I think the crowd in The Age was a mistake.

Yellow might not be the best colour if it was done, maybe light blue or light green, because some teams(adelaide and Brisbane) already wear yellow numbers.

Good point, all those 4 games are from Rounds 14-20 as well, so they could all be disasterous crowds. I don't think the one in camberra will matter too much though.

It'd be great if we V Gold Coast before they come into the AFL. October 16 might be too soon if we make the finals.
