What trade cost???? He's a free agent. The cost is $$ only. If we have cap space - in all likelihood we can make something work. 100% we throw our hat in the ring, he will make us better. Him and jvr together = gold

I actually think it's about time for the AFL to introduce anti-tampering rules similar to the NBA and NFL to stop this [censored] of meeting contracted players to convince them to join and stop media speculation/agenda ro get players to certain clubs. It's just garbage currently allowing the status quo to remain as is. The whole system needs a major disruptor to happen - ie gold coast openly meeting and courting nick daicos to show that's a debacle currently

Trac cracked rib
He'll be right. Aye Might have just found our new FF. Play Trac out of the goal square pagans paddock style. Roo at CHf, koz and chin sprinting in from points of the square Fritta starts 30 m out 3 rows in to grandstand. 6th man sprinting straight to defence at the centre bounce

Rebound or Rebuild?
'The Demons still think they're in the premiership window, but missed the top eight last year'..... This is what [censored] me about the media.... quick to go on about our straight sets and missing last year but fawning over the pies and cats after they both missed the finals directly after the wins... we missed the 8 so are bad - pies missed the eight and are one of the favourites for the flag.... [censored]

Training Ground?
1987 prelim was there….. it’s a no from me. And then this “journalist” suggests a Jim Stynes statue there. [censored] what did Jim do to deserve that. The hawks would think it’s the biggest laugh ever

Zipporah Zippy Fish. Dad must have been a fan of Kate Fischer (as we all were in the late 80s/90s - changing her name to Tziporah Malkeh in the aftermath of James Packer marriage break up...)

PRESEASON TRAINING: Monday 9th December 2024
Spent about 45 mins there for the first time in many a season. Very impressed with the quality of training and ball movement - picking a starting 22 is going to be tough work on the selection committee Was surprised about the size of Lindsay - he is definitely bigger than I was expecting - ripped and should slot straight in
-
The Next CEO
Justin Rodski - would be a fantastic appointment. As much as he is ceo at storm - he's an AFL boy at heart Worked his way up the corporate ranks at Essendon before going to Storm Know him quite well - through junior footy. He does the boundary ump role every game for his sons team - he's grounded and always available for a chat

2 deadset Rippers by the looks. The cameo from Smillie and the little cuddle with Tauru (thr 2 gippsland boys) - they look like great blokes as well. Hope our 2 can get them across as well in a couple of 😉

2024 Phantom Drafts
I'm confused by the Tauru situation. I like him and am on record here as saying yes at 5. The biggest reason for this is NM being rumoured to happily 'reach for him at 2. Yes they some good kid Mids but as we all hear time and time and time again the best players are the gun mids. They get taken at the pointy end. You don't go for position at the pointy end you get the best kid period. If Tauru is in the position a club wanting him at 2 despite then missing the 2nd best available player - that tells me perhaps this batch isn't necessarily as good as all the hype is making them out to be. North are still developing they need the Best players they can get regardless of position trade a gun mid for a KP next year with a couple of years of development if needed. Hence Tauru must be pretty special - rated on par with pointy end mids. 193cm (and growing) aerialist swingman - a handy acquisition in any books. The flowing blonde hair taking pack marks at either of the ground - its a yes from me if available at 5
