i cant even imagine judd playing for us. the other team might as well put 2 players on him. west coast had judd, kerr and cousins. we would have judd, mclean and mcdonald. not quite the same
-
if we get rid of ricky...i DONT WANT JUDD.
-
lol. 'point taken'..but 1 goal 6 isnt that bad..coz my 1 goal was quite handy(even tho it was a point)...but that was not our last outing against the sainters...i did okay last time didnt i?..even though i played more midfield.
-
yeh i should be able to play. im just getting over some shin splints at the moment..but put me down for a forward pocket or flank. u guys have seen me 'play'..so wherever u want me..or dont want me!
-
we wont get pick 5 for robbo. robbo is old and is bung knee will reduce his value. great player though.
-
a quick question: Frawley will be a great backman for the next 10-12 seasons Judd will be an elite midfielder for the next 6 or so seasons. Is there any point? are we even going to be in the premiership window when we have judd?
-
a reliable friend of mine's dad is going to the grand final with Judds aunty. She says melbourne is his choice. more food for thought.
-
id offer pick 21 and a player for him(obviously not a top liner)
-
no way would west coast take that.
-
um no thanks. there is no point in doing that trade. thats just trading for the sake of trading.
-
so judd is 24..which means he could be playing good footy for another 6 seasons. Are we even in the premiership window within 6 years? I know our pick 4 would most likely still be around...not judd though.
-
yeh. he helped old scotch f.c with our ruck division and he was a very nice bloke. Truly sad to see him go. RIP.
-
are u crazy. cmon guys its brock mclean. he is our next captain for sure. While last season wasnt as good as the one before, he did have a few niggling injuries. If we trade Mclean, we are losing a young, hard as nails leader...take the risk of replacing him with a pick 2. the chances are that he wont be as good as him..especially in a weak draft.
-
mcmahon is too old in my opinion. i dont want anyone over 22. I do not want Judd, we are rebuilding so lets keep the pick 4 and get 5 years more service because the draftee is 5 yrs younger than judd.

First of all. 1 good game?..he played 3 awesome games for the championships. He also carried on this awesome form in the wafl..and just days ago had 30 touches and 5 goals playing in the same team as other afl listed players. Think before you post. The fact that Palmer has carried on such form IS the reason that he is a possible top 3 pick. Rumour has it that Palmer ran more than 18km in a game and no-one can deny that his endurance is fantastic. His disposal is good, he loves the hard stuff and can find the footy. Look at Kirk, Adcock, Bartel, K.Cornes..none of these guys are that tall or big or have buckley-like disposals but are all chances for AA honours.
-
guys lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. Whilst jones is a very good young player..he did average 17 possies a game. I know that if Mcdonald averaged 17 disposals a game than people would be asking 'What the hell happened?'. so just a little perspective here please. For someone that plays substantial time in the guts 17 touches isn't that great..whilst it is great for a 2nd season player..age means nothing when it comes to winning the B&F. ..and 17 touches is no where near good enough for a B&F.

i'm surprised that no-one has mentioned Franklin's goal at half time. That would be the favourite at the moment.
-
so you would put riewoldt in the backline then because he is a shocking kick for goal? i think not. I think Bruce would get a lot better when permanently placed in the forward line..remember..as soon as he was placed in the midfield..his career plateaued. He started his career off as a stunning forward.
-
yeh i know..i guess i was seeking some help..coz like u pointed out..i've made no changes! Here I go. FB: Bell Carroll Bartram HB: Petterd White Rivers C: Dunn Mclean Frawley HF: Davey Bate Robertson FF: Bruce Neitz Whelan Ruck: Jamar, Mcdonald , Newton Interchange: Sylvia, Johnstone, Green, R.Palmer Now unleash the beast on me.
-
Bailey hinted in his SEN interview that he will experiment with some positional changes of several players. What do you guys think that they could be? With a fully fit 22 in 2008, I'd like to see something like this..assuming there are no trades(which I'm sure there will be) FB: Frawley Carroll Bell HB: Petterd Rivers Green C: Dunn Mclean Bartram HF: Davey Bate Newton FF: Bruce Neitz Robertson Ruck: White, Jones , McDonald Interchange: Sylvia, Johnstone, Jamar, R.Palmer :D Bruce to play permanent forward and Bate to play CHF(only 1cm shorter than Riewoldt). These would be my only major changes. newton also seems good up in the midfield.

walker was 2. get it right. i hate stupidity.
-
good luck getting any good draftees past pick 20. The upcoming draft has been quoted as being one of the weakest so we will be throwing our players away for nothing. It's easy to say now, but we will be paying the price for being too soft in the trade period last season approaching the superdraft.
-
Just to think that we have picked the worst draft to stock up on talented kids. We would be lucky to pick up a decent player after 20 in my opinion.

Oh no please not connolly. The good thing about Sheedy is that I think he would find a new passion for footycoaching being at a new club. He would have a a whole new playing list to work with and for someone that has been coaching the same team longer than I have been living it has to generate some new passion i would have thought.
