  1. This is the MFC mantra.
  2. PLEASE, draft genuine ball users and finishers! FFS.
  3. wasteful, arrogant and a momentum killer. Same story as the Alice game.
  4. That first inside 50 from him, and that ‘snap’ were horrendous.
  5. We’re in big trouble if he’s still a regular at the end of the season.
  6. Vintage back six, so far.
  7. Yeah, very early but I’ve liked what I’ve seen from most of the team today - very early call though!
  8. JVR also doing everything possible not to take clean possession.
  9. Seeing ANB deliver the ball into Adelaide’s forward 50, immaculately, is heartbreaking.
  10. lol.
  11. The fact you unironically and legitimately espoused the old “supporters support” line, says enough.
  12. Bizarre take, unless you’re into participation medals.
  13. He does. Very much still on.
  14. If he leaves he'll be at one of three Victorian based clubs, it won't be us.

  16. Of course it does.
  17. What’s your context and question? I’m clearly not following what your statement and question has to do with my comment.
  18. Right. Unable to provide any real world examples, but sticking to the notion that merely saying something makes it so. Droll, but apt.
  19. Please provide an example of another FADG/ADG/DepSec/Sec etc. who provides one months notice then moves on? You honestly have zero clue what you’re talking about. What you suggest happens at the Band 1 or 2 level, doesn’t even occur at SES level. Genuinely unsure if you’re just trolling, or have no context of anything in Government or private practice. Because I’ll tell you, after having worked across both the public and private sector, no one moves into a new role after a 4 week notice period. You’d struggle to come across that at even an APS4 level or as a junior associate.
  20. He is. At his current place of employment; like standard practise and convention with regard for the normal context of these contracts.
  21. In what world, does a person in a position as CEO, regularly start after a month? Bizarre. “Yeah, I’ll just hand in my four weeks notice. See you in a month, boys!”
  22. To be fair, there were knocks on his kicking and kicking consistency in his draft year. What DD has said is very fair, and honestly his disposal this year has been fairly poor, IMO. “Another facet of Windsor's game he has shown improvement in is his kicking. He often gets good length and is capable of slotting impressive goals on the run, but does a lot of work at speed and that can impact his efficiency in the short-range. When more measured, he is capable of sharp passes which do damage.” For reference, last year his disposal efficiency was 65.8% which is below average (57.6% by foot), and this year is only a slight marginal improvement 68.2% which continues to be below average (61.7% by foot). I’ll also add, I think there is a component of sunken cost bias with Windsor on this site, pursuant to where he went in the draft. If he was taken at Pick 40 (for example), I think far more people would be asking more questions of him, where his role is in the side, and about his continual selection despite his shortcomings. Personally, he may come on and develop further; I’m just not sure if his strengths will be enough to outweigh his poor disposal and execution. 23. On what metrics? I find it phenomenal that you can say Petty has been our best key forward this year - even acknowledging that in the current crop that threshold would be relatively low.
  24. Gawn - Richo's barn door Viney - **** for brains Fritsch - some important cameos Petty - McCain farm fresh Bowey - continued stellar season Turner - leave him forward Rivers - continues wasteful disposal Windsor - line through him Melksham - was well held Kozzie - limited past first Petracca - never looked damaging Oliver - lethargic and slow Langford - well timed bye Salem - approaching swan song Pickett - traditional Pickett game JVR- one good passage Melbourne football club - draft elite users!!!!!!
