  1. Few little Scully hard ball gets in there too... nice.
  2. In previous years I'm pretty sure I've seen the SANFL Grand Final on the ABC (maybe ABC2) in Vic so I reckon there's a fair shot we'll get a look at him if it's next week. Is it?
  3. Probably one of the better ones I've seen. I had a good chuckle.
  4. I can't make it I'm sure it's already on the cards but can someone please give us a Scully-report?
  5. Oh Dappa, please don't say that! I really want him to play a lot more next season...! I've already been flogged by my housemates (2 x Cats and 1 x Hawks supporters) suggesting he is a dud. I've firmly stood behind him all season, but will battle for another 12 months I think... I really hope he steps up and plays the majority of games next season. "Light at the end of the tunnel, Light at the end of the tunnel."
  6. Let's face it, the Orange Roughy isn't the most photogenic bloke going around in the first place (but yes, I agree, not flattering at all)
  7. HAHA Dappa. I'd like to see him put a bit more bulk on before he starts crashing into packs in the forward line, we can't have forwards getting rag-dolled and he reminds me a bit of (dare I say it) Justin Whestoff body-wise at the moment. Give him some more experience in the backline, pinch hit up forward if needed, but I think possibly Big Stef Martin or the Russian will add some size to our forward line in 2010.
  8. Couldn't agree more with this review. Last year I was continually frustrated watching Nate turn the ball over with poor disposal by foot, as he would do all the hard work to get it, and then turn it over. I feel the 'flexibility' mentioned by Wellman is a key here and he benefits from first use of the ball. In the coming year he will be tagger harder and he needs to develop the habit of breaking the tag and becoming a game-turner. I would really like to see Nate develop his ability of turning defence into attack, along the similar lines of another baldie: Crows player Tyson Edwards
  9. It's publicly voted isn't it? Probably got the whole town of Geelong to vote for him. He is certainly not a regular picture of 'courage'. Hopefully this is the only thing they win this year.
  10. Surely his upper body will be massive... (and by massive I mean much bigger than if he'd done cardio this year) Next Beamer? Now there is a bloke who loves weights room.
  11. Would have to agree pal. Whilst I haven't posted on a lot of your report threads, I have taken a fairly high interest in reading them and in the Scorps this year obviously because of the alignment. It is excellent to get your views on the situation. Please continue the good work for the benefit of all those on here, I know many appreciate the efforts.
  12. WHOAH! That is ambitious for a bloke with a pretty-dodgy knee and at 26, what can he offer a club if he breaks down? Looks like trade week is going to be fun, but probably not so much for us :D
  13. Barry, I could only agree with you wholeheartedly. That was a great article, and I can only hope Grant's sentiments are true.
  14. Stuff on LJ is great. In fact, the whole article is great. He puts a very positive spin on the position the club is in and its professional approach towards the future. I especially like this about Liam: It just goes to show that the experience that has been poured into the club over the last 2 years is really starting to pay dividends, I wouldn't have expected an approach like this a few years back.
  15. Dislike the Pies severely and think they copped the bum draw after losing last week to the Dogs by more than 24... Probably has cost them as I also believe they will struggle to beat the Crows next week. The Crows are a bloody good team. Dark horse for the flag?
  16. I just watched it again too.... it's such a good story.
  17. ELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL JAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY!
  18. Wow. Just, Wow. Mate, I can't begin to imagine, even after reading that, how you are holding together - i can only send my wishes and let you know my thoughts are with you. I too am the same age, and reading about your life can completely relate to the position you were in a few months before this struck. Keep being strong and utilize your support networks as much as you can, they will be there for you when you need the most. And keep coming back here. The Dees are clearly doing something for you, and I'm sure you have the love and support from everyone on this forum. All the best.
  19. I hope that we don't trade our 2nd pick in the draft... to get the two best youngsters in the country is a MUST for MFC to move forward. I believe we have the cattle coming through, plus the picks, to not need a trade.
  20. Poor old Matty Egan, as a non-Geelong supporter, but a lover of this game, I feel so so sorry for him. He was officially a gun, unfortunately suffered at the hands of too many injuries. I really hope that he can get his body right with a year off, hell, he could find himself playing for the GC or WS.
  21. I think to be successful we need to win interstate. I think we could beat Sydney, Fremantle and Port both home and away, if we play well enough. This is where DB will make or break the season. I believe we're yet to win interstate (as the away team) under his reign... I expect success in this area in 2010.
  22. Agreed. Like you said, just from watching that highlights package he seems to have the athletic ability, and quite a large frame already would put him in good stead for the big league. Surely someone will pounce on him as a rookie? I had only read about him in the newspaper articles, but am impressed. An african Nik Nat?
  23. No. And as Big Kev used to say "I'm excited".
  24. 6 - Sylvia 5 - Jurrah 4 - Morton 3 - Dunn 2 - Jamar 1 - Moloney Bring on 2010.
