  1. Some of those are maybe worth trading for, but definately not first round. Maybe for later picks, but none exite me enough fot a 1st round pick. Wasn't Everitt available for free at the end of last year before the Dogs decided to keep him? Not sure.
  2. Not taking sides but there has been a few. Off the top of my head: Sav Rocca Darren Jarman Jeff Farmer Im sure there has been plenty more. Having said that, I do think that it is an over-rated issue. But to say it does not happen is being naive. ..isn't this thread suppost to be about Jamar?
  3. And we know too well how far that team went. Maybe a good sign. Not so much on the Roys team though. doh..
  4. Great work Berts. Now if only Watts can break out a big game and McKenzie can get back in for some votes, we can get a monopoly on this rising star award. Does anyone know what is the most amount of nominees from one team in one year?
  5. Rating: 7/10 Have improved and showed big signs that we will keep improving. 3-2-1: 3. Chip Frawley. Dont know what to say, exept that he has just been fantastic 2. Junior Mac. Has become the bloke that we just love to love. 1. Mark Jamar. Great Team Highlight: The Brisbane game. The way we played. Can't remember being so exited watching the lads play. Team Lowlight: Hawthorn in round 1. It did not look good for the season ahead. Biggest Surprise: Gysberts. So good so soon. Hopfully it keeps up. Biggest Disappointment: Not being competetive against North, Eagles and Blues. Individual Highlight: Pettards game against Collingwood. Just one tiny thing to make it perfect. But he was still good. Individual Lowlight: Not seeing Jurrah on the park.
  6. 6. Cameron Bruce (For mine, easily our best. Was great today) 5. Jordan Gysberts 4. Neville Jetta 3. Mark Jamar 2. James McDonald 1. Nathan Jones Very dissapointing effort all round.
  7. Cannot wait to see all 3 of our top picks from last year all play together for the first time. Could be a glimpse into the future. I think our midfield looks very strong this week. They will need to be at their best against another good mid. Going to be a great match.
  8. Was thinking the same. Glad that Garland is ok. I think he could be good on Waite, as he runs around a bit. Still a bit suprised that Miller has been kept in if Bate is back.
  9. Unfortunately, he would go to Geelong. Father-son rule.
  10. I would definately say. As well as Whelen at 50. And you would even say Brad Miller at pick 55 2001 is a good get that late. '97 rookie draft J. Macdonald, & Guy Rigoni Pick 77 From that I would say that Daniher wasn't all that bad. Sometimes I miss the reverend. I liked him.
  11. The Greatest of all. Wayne Gretzky. Not sure what he could bring to AFL, but I had to throw him in anyway. Purely for inspirational greatness. :)
  12. Love the reference to Jimmy Hird. How nice would that be. sigh...just dreaming of the future.
  13. Bate should replace Miller. Millers job is done if Bate is fit. If Garand injured then McKenzie. Scully and Trengove for ????? to hard. I think Bruce and Rivers will both keep their spot. Rivers had a shocker today, but I think he will be given the oportunity to redeem himself.
  14. I think Dustin Martin will get it this week. Given that the Tige's won and he apparantly played ok. Dont think he has had it yet. Also not sure if AFL would give it in his first game? Even if he deserves it.
  15. I was one of i'm sure many who thought "who?" When MFC read out J.Gysberts at pick 11. Great first game, and great work MFC.
  16. 6. J.Podsi... oops sorry. He is pretty f.ing good though isn't he. 6. Colin Sylvia 5. Brad Green 4. Jordan Gysberts - Woo Hoo! Couln't be happier. 3. Brent Maloney 2. James Frawley 1. Clint Bartram Hard to pick a stand out one over another. Maybe just 3 for all 6.
  17. Agree and agree Chip and Bartram. Also thought, although not great, Wonna showed enough to keep him in.
  18. Pretty harsh. IMO Robbo always worked hard.
  19. We have Johnson, Spencer, Gawn, and Fitzpatrick, (Meeson maybe). It is probably a safe bet that at least one of these will turn out a good player. Not many would of forseen how good Jamar was going to be this year even a couple of years ago. Definately would not waste a spot on the list with JF.
  20. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but it will be intersting to see what happens if Gysberts plays well. Wonder if they will play them all together, and if so, who gets dropped? Would be a good dilema.
  21. Maybe just dissapointed a bit too. I was just really looking forward to seeing Scully perform against the Cats. Thought it would of been fantastic experiance. Compounded by the fact that I thought he may have been dropped teh week before due to many ordinary disposals. It also annoys me some that the two seem to always be coupled together, which could turn into extra pressure in the future. Especially if one starts to drop in form or even rise more in form than the other. This is also the reason i do not like the Sculgove term. Very exited about watching the Gys in action though, and hope he can go well, as well as Watts continue his good form.
  22. Surely it would of made more sense to have rested one last week, and seperate them. I really think that the club is trying very hard to not show that they are favoring one over the other. Maybe taking it just a bit far.
  23. I think we are just trying to keep it fair and give the Cats some chance.
  24. Spread option is super value. Dee's at $1.90 with a 50.5 pts start. Put you house on it!! :) Please gamgle responsively
