  1. I'll take some of that. Go Dee's
  2. My 2 cents. Tapscott, Gysberts, Blease, McKenzie = All going to be superstars. Scully, Watts, Trengove = Super Dooper Stars. (Probably win brownlows, Norm Smiths etc..) Very exited about our future champs. If some of these dont quite live up to it. Who cares. What is wrong with enthusiasm?
  3. Maybe you and others are correct. But I am of the belief that you go into every game regardless of oposition and give evrything you can to try and win. I will expect it of the players this week, and the week after again. Maybe I am a fool, but I truly believe before every game that MFC play, that we can win. Just think about how good we have been this year. (insert inspirational Braveheart speach here). Go Dee's!! This board (and general media)will go nuts if we beat the Cats this week.
  4. I really hate these sugestions about resting players and not having a chance against the Cats. How about we try and win!
  5. In: Warnock, Bruce, Bate (if fit) Out: Maloney, Wonna, Jetta Maybe i'm mad but I would love to see Scully play on Ablett on Saturday. He may get destroyed, but how much of a win would it be if he could run with G.A all day and come out alright. Would be a huge win for him and the club. He surely has got the tank. Any thoughts??
  6. Even though there was certainly no malice, I think he was always going to get a week. Sucks the big ones but not suprising. Just more dissapointing that it is against the Cats when he is going to miss.
  7. Surely even Kellie Underwood can't be any worse than the pre-season match against the Crows this year. Remember when it was 'some other team' v Kurt Tippet. But Quartermain is a [censored] too. Think i'll just use radio anyway.
  8. I think Maloney could be an out. 50-50 but I reckon they will give him 1. Is Warnock ok to come back?
  9. 6. Jamie Bennell 5. Aaren Davey 4. Jack Trengove 3. Mark Jamar 2. Brad Miller 1. Colin Sylvia Great to see Sylvia lift after last weeks effort, and Watts very impressive again.
  10. Totally agree. What a joke.
  11. Or maybe Jack Watts could become that type of player.
  12. i am very exited about scully. he is going to be an absolute star. but i still stand by my vote. Surely we can all see that he has turned it over a number of times. Are we going to just send him the message that his disposal is all ok. Best to teach them early I say. I know he is not alone. I also think that if we bring in Gysberts then another younger kid would be a better replacement, so as to not lose to much experianced heads. begin abuse below....
  13. Scully is a star, but his disposal was pretty ordinary again today. Might be worth giving him a short spell in the scooby doos. Also could be a good oportunity to bring in the Gyz.
  14. 6. Jack Grimes 5. James MacDonald 4. Jordie McKenzie 3. Mark Jamar 2. Jack Watts 1. Jared Rivers
  15. He was better than that. Thought he went ok today. Sylvia definately was our most disappointing.
  16. Sorry to spoil your fun, but Masten is injured. Also, you forgot to add "Sylvia lays a huge hip and shoulder on Kennedy, gee that looked bad, he's not getting up". 17 pages!! who hoo! what is the record?
  17. You should write for the papers. Surely that will be on the back page in 2 years time. If Jack plays anything like his dad, he is already my favorite player
  18. I know some will say who cares, but I loved the guy, and I just wanted to share the love. Tipping there was some great celebrations during this game. In the Goulburn Valley league, former Melbourne Demon Russell Robertson kicked 12 goals in Shepparton Swans' first win of the season, a 65-point triumph over Seymour Go Robbo!! apologies if this has already been posted somewhere.
  19. I reckon that they are both so competetive. Given that Tom had a blinder, Jack will be going all out this week to outdo him. Prob what Scully was thinking the week before. But how much more can they both lift also: Understand all the talk about NicNat, but they do have another ruckman. He is pretty good to last time I checked. Jamar will need to have a big day. Sorry to get off the topic- I want to see a minimum 10 goal win and Hughes to bag 8 goals. Sunday morning paper reads: "Where has this boy been"
  20. I tried to be a bit conservative. Funny that I dont rate Port that much yet I have got them making it. Also: I never made any score changes. All 12 point margins. Went back and made a few changes like us beating Blues r11, and Crows at AAMI,and Swans at G. Now we make 8th and play Pies in first final. Awsome, I cant wait
  21. 6. Jack Grimes 5. Mathew Warnock 4. Tom Scully 3. Aaren Davey 2. Jack Trengove 1. Jamie Bennell
  22. Take it easy. It is pretty much common practice in every sporting code in the world. If a former player comes against their old team, the fans give them a bit of crap. It is nothing personal on the guy. It is just what happens. If I met ever met Brock or Trav or whoever at a pub, i'd probably buy him a beer and have a chat. But if they are playing against MFC then you boo or abuse them. Like I said, as im sure Brock will be expecting.
  23. Thankyou. I really should work out this twitter business. Actually looks not as bad as I thought. I am looking forward to hearing some of the comments from Dogs fans, as well as my work friends. Surely there will be some rippers.
  24. Can someone please point me to where I can find out if this jumper change is happening. There does not seem to be any news about it that I can find. Gee, wouldnt this thread seem very long and stupid if it was not even going to happen.
  25. Whether the big footy comments are true or not. You could probably find similar derogaratory comments about just about any player in the competition if you looked hard enough. As we can all see by reading threads, anyone can type. I am also grateful for Brock's contribution to the MFC. But I will still boo and abuse him at the games. As any Demon fan should. And as I am sure he will be expecting.
