  1. Sorry to say, but an impressive win coming up for the Pies tonight. 4 good players out and going over to WA off a 5 day break. Respect.
  2. Yes, being very reactive and not proactive.
  3. Longmuir has to be about on his last legs as coach of Freo, surely? With the list he has, they should be doing much better than their current output. Their game plan is worse than ours. Not too sure I’d be salivating over the prospect of bringing LJ back in a hurry either. Hasn’t done too much in his time over their and has stagnated badly, particularly for the $ he would be on.
  4. If it’s a choice between LJ coming back or keeping Kozzie, the choice is an extremely easy one for mine. For all of his talent, Luke rarely influences games.
  5. Surely Longmuir is on shaky ground at the Dockers. They should be so much better than what they’re delivering
  6. Free fertiliser
  7. 19-12 free kicks at half time, on track for 62 frees for the game. Talk about over officiating
  8. Great to see you’ve become more optimistic as you’ve aged Bluey 😁
  9. How would anyone know either way? The club is virtually a closed shop on Caulfield……….yet for everything else we seem to leak like a sieve.
  10. God?
  11. Sounds to me like we need a new fitness boss.
  12. Agree a bit left field, but I like that. He’ll be keen to learn and establish himself in the footy industry, so motivation won’t be an issue. He’ll look to prove himself worthy, as opposed to a former CEO knowing they’ve been here before. A breath of fresh air, with his own outside the box ideas, away from the insular environment that is the AFL business.
  13. When the end comes, I fear it will come quickly. Poor Max has been carrying this team on his shoulders for nearly a decade. Instead of easing his load and maximising his longevity, the burden seems to be getting heavier. Getting ‘final straw that broke camels back’ vibes.
  14. Rab was referring to Dingley Red
  15. My god there is a lot of MFCSS up in here. Here’s an idea, why not give the guy a chance to prove his mettle? If at the end of his tenure, all that Guerra has been able to achieve is establishing a new home base, then he will have been a success. On-field results drives everything. From attendance to membership to relevance to sponsorships to premiership's. Get that right and everything else falls in to place.
  16. If it means going after Jonathon Brown to play at FF, I’m all for it…………….the bloke plays one hell of a piano
  17. Priority #1 for both the MFC as a club and its incoming CEO, has to be finally getting our home base built with as few hiccups as possible.
  18. Victorian Government project, so completion will be 5 years behind original planning
  19. Yeah, doubt Beveridge is going anywhere. He has them playing some great football atm.
  20. So vote Labor for a quicker outcome on our training base? I’m heading to the early voting centre now 😝
  21. Definitely think Josh is the more mercurial of the 2. Nick is simply an accumulator.
  22. Yep, if Nash gets anything less than 5, the MFC should sending HQ a please explain over how Kozzie was given 3 in comparison.
  23. My golf coach from ages ago told me that learning golf is kinda backwards. You start perfecting technique from the green back. Yeah I had a slice that turned wicked when starting further left, he taught me to set up right and now I have a draw…………though he started shaking his head when I walked up to putt with a driver in my hands.
  24. What a day at the footy!!! Glad I decided to go, the weather was great, the time of the match even better……and the footy wasn’t too shabby either. Loved how it was the younger brigade leading the way early (Bowey especially - his best game in red & blue), with the ‘oldies’ playing a very steadying hand in the second half. There were times in the last where doubt tried to creep in, but loved Harvey stepping up and nailing that goal. Once Sparrow put us up by 13 I thought we’d be hard to beat. 25,000 was a decent turn out given being 0-5. Gives us a bit of confidence and the shackles broken heading in to ANZAC Eve.
