If you go through the line-ups, Geelong’s best players are A+ grade, but Brissie’s I’d argue is a lot deeper in quality all over the ground. If Geelong’s defence holds up, it’s hard to see them losing.

Harry Sharp makes Sparrow look like a superstar……. who I’m not overly keen on. The less said the better on the flatman

I’m sure he’s a great bloke and teammate, but he offers our side very little. He’s not really even handy depth, given how little he impacts games. If we are to improve as a team, we need to move the likes of him on.

Dovaston has better goal sense that Spargo, who is more of a facilitator.

Called it in May that we’d struggle to surpass 60k members this year. The rusted ons always renew, but after a disappointing end to 2024 and the tripe we served up this year, our fickle base of supporters needn’t another reason to let their membership lapse.
