GWS have plenty of picks this year (after the Hill and Taranto trades they have 3, 12, 19, 21, 43, 58, 60) and no gun academy players so they have no use for any later picks from us

Port will offer pick 8 and next year's future first. Maybe a late pick coming back from North. They can't trade their pick 27 this year as that'll go to the Eagles for Rioli. Either way if things go belly up with Hinkley next year then it's a lot off eggs in the JHF basket.

Scott's ego is obviously stronger than his interest in staying in a cushy AFL job. Pretty risky taking a coaching gig at the Bombers.

Worst case scenario for us is: Yze misses the Bombers job. A few months are needed for the Hawks racism investigation and the Kangas end up sacking Clarko early next year. Then Yze gets that job as the best available option.. leaving us without a senior assistant right before the season starts.
