Me too. I was surrounded by many arrogant Hawks supporters in the 80s growing up. I can't believe they're back in the hunt so quickly. I know it's been 10 years since their last flag but they haven't been down the bottom for long enough. I wish they were in an Essendon situation and not winning finals for 21 years... -

Sure, coaches don't make the overall call on list decisions like they would have done back in the day but surely they have some say?

Pick 49 would have been fine on its own but for some reason even though he was uncontracted and had only played 16 games we also swapped this year's third round pick with Brisbane's third round. I know that'll blow out this year but every little bit makes a difference in the draft (e.g hypothetically could be the difference between getting Sam Davidson in last year's draft at pick 51, compared with Aiden Johnson at pick 68)

Surely the expectations would have been finals? I know we had a shocker last year but we still won 11 matches and were getting Trac back, plus a fit Oliver and 2 high draft picks.

Any interest in Tauru or is a gun midfielder much more of a priority? (Our interest might be irrelevant anyway with North maybe doing a trade with the Crows to slide down to pick 4 to get him)
