A very interesting point. It is a very difficult process to compare one coach to another, hence my question earlier to @jnrmac, how do you compare coaches and come to the conclusion that one is better than another? There are a lot of factors that go in to a successful team. It will be interesting to watch and compare. But another question - Roos wanted Dew, I 100% agree, but what if Dew wanted to rebuild and start from scratch like hes done with the Suns, would MFC swallow a rebuild?

Maybe if the bombers players protest they can play? Thats legal isnt it?

Spot on chook. No point winning the ball if it is just going to easily rebound out on a continuous basis.

You may be correct, But for mine I am prepared to wait for him to get some consistency and play some games before writing him off. As supporters who watch on tv we don't know what he actually brings. Bit rough to write him off so early on

I haven't read the whole threat (there is only so much whining one can take) but you shouldn't discount how good Pitonet was against Gawn in the 3 quarters post quarter time. Maxs influence got us the lead in the 1st but Pitonet beat him for the rest of the game and almost stole a w for the blues. Pittonet took away our advantages and exposed our weaknesses

Round 1 form is always hard to judge and after a long break it's even harder. But Carlton weren't that bad in Rd 1.
