  1. Spot on again lads it really annoys me as well Not sure who to blame on this one but I really wish they'd stop trying to do difficult things and use first options - especially if they are open or reward hard work Overall disappointed but I saw some signs of positivitey
  2. Really good post rjay Spot on about Byrnes i noticed the same thing.... Another thing that really bugs me is we don't use our link up players and run the ball - we always seem to bomb long and not hold on to the ball, which undoes all the good work of finally winning the ball Did think the second qtr we started to show some real fight
  3. Ouch, yes sir! I thought we had something special Just messing with you mate
  4. Haha did enjoy that
  5. All I'll say is 40ish games per player ave today Glad to see expectations are in check
  6. C'mon mate - he's been incharge 18 months Andre team today had 40 games per player experience Edit - damn Iphone I think I quoted the wrong post as well - sorry Demonfan
  7. Spot on BBO I cant not drink watching the dees
  8. Continue blindly placing all your anger
  9. Haha I am still pretty light headed from last night... You're rebuttal confirms how [censored] poor argument is
  10. Explain to me HH how players inability to execute under pressure is all Neelds fault Hh
  11. Stuie, I like your contributions but I reckon this is a [censored] poor argument Firsty, Neeld clearly says he wants to coach - at no stage is it give it would happen straight away. Second, your personal expectations of the ability of the team are far off Thirdly, how can you match possession counts when you dont win the ball and te players continually bomb it? Why our team mates dot use open players really worries and annoys me. Not sure if aneeosnis to blame as I don't know the instructions, but back to point it's not Neelds fault These threads trying to blindly lay blame [censored] me off... If you couldnt tell haha
  12. Haha self stitch up Rino?
  13. Would love the dees to go after Ling if this spot Evans available
  14. Spot on mate Skills argh - our lives wouldn't be so sad if they could use the ball Tappy & jones inspirational - keep it up boys
  15. Spot on mate - does this club have the guts needed for the hard work? I reckon the majority of supporters/posters at Deeland are just after quick fixes
  16. I actually understand what your saying Jaded but I don't think you understand what I am saying Making reactionary decisions are not good practice. Let the right process happen - if the board come out and say we're sacking Neeld and are able to articulate the reasons why (which indicates risks, strategy etc etc has all been considered) then I am happy to support that decision If the Schwab situation happens with Neeld I fer this club will remain irrelevant as you state.... As much as we need success we need good management and stability - I'll repeat what you purpose is reactionary and does not come accross as a good business decision no matter what you believe. You and I will never have all the facts as we are not privldged to the inside information. We need to trust the people in charge.... if not vote them out at the next AGM I am reapeating myself - but if Neeld is sacked I think the board should step down as well
  17. So in summary the club should react out of fear and not good decisions?
  18. Josh Mahoney is in charge of the players and contracts isn't he??? Football head i think No mention of him on this thread
  19. I don't know for sure but I'd assume that's what the football director and CEO would be responsible for dealing with. I'd hope they were dealing with any rumors and issues that came from them!! You can't be sure of Neelds relationship with the players without being there, i've heard him say a few times that they (the FD) need to look after the players and keep them confident - I can only assume there are no issues I guess answering you robbie and for myself I really hope the club has the right people in place to deal with these issues I am sure like every organisation and workplace not everyone gets on with everyone - but you'd hope if there were any major issues that needed to be addressed they would be. It will come out eventually and people should be held accountable if they don't do their job
  20. I don't know for sure oilslik but I don't think Max is as committed to AFL as his brother
  21. Are you saying the MFC should base their decision making on rumors and innuendo? Sounds like a successful way to run a business to me There are rumors around all clubs, if this has any legs it will come out. I don't agree with making decisions on real people and their futures on rumor though. That won't cut it in a professional industry.
  22. haha c'mon mate are you seriously gong to argue your understanding of the game is superior to the FD The rest is opinion with little to no fact and nothing wrong with that - we all want a competitive team, that's why we are here complaining/arguing If it is so simple you should go down to training and take over BB edit - Sorry i highligted some wrong bits
  23. Not sure how to reply to this............. lucky the pies game dosen't exite me much otherwise this would be too hard..... Clarify your comments - are you saying Neeld, Craig and Co are not qualified for the job? How long do you expect coaches to make a real impact on a list - please sight recent coaches ie Clarkson, Malthouse, Thompson etc off the top of my head who have done full re-builds not just taken over (with Hawks/Pies and Cats) With our current list and team fielded on Sunday, at what point do you expect the team to be able to execute on field at a consistent AFL level? - Out of our starting 6 (followers & centremen) I'll do it for you (Trengove, Viney, Jones = 72 games total) & (Macca & N Jones - 199 games combined) when do you expect them to deliver consistent AFL Footy and compete with the best??? I'll let you throw in Sylvia & Byrnes and a few others if you want. Now compare the experience to the CFC who are roughly high middle range in the comp. All you have done is given me your opinion based on our fisrt 5 rounds - we all know they were poor, that doesn't make your argument right This is getting long winded as well - Mate you need to state some facts to the argument and not just tell me how disappointed you are.... If you want to base the current performance solely on Neeld so be it, your not inside the club what would you know about the messages the FD give the players - don't expect me to buy your rabble Edit - could have added Bailey or Hardwick form the Tigers as well, whoever you want - but going off the top of my head
  24. Agree mate, we may see them through different eyes but I think we may be on the same page...... Just would be nice to see this club win some games But then again this place would be boring haha
  25. So let me get this straight from what you've said - Mark Neeld, Neal Craig and Dave Mission have no idea what they're doing because in a press conference he said he was surprised results were so poor, it's not due to disappointment at all? You think the instructions aren't clear to the players because of your analysis of press conferences after the game, yet at no stage do you take in to account that the players were outplayed, on top of not hearing the instructions from the coaches first hand yourself. You've taken all of the accountibility out of the players hands and transferred it all to Neeld, and give you give no credit to the oppisitions what so ever. Sounds reasonable doesn't it? On top of that as I said first up you imply Neeld, Craig and Mission have no idea what they are doing..... or do you just expect miracles in 18 months? I said this earlier in this thread - compare our starting 6 mids to Carlton and come back to me if you think we are competing on even terms..... Now you can point the finger at Neeld. But also I think and hope midfields can be developed quickly - but over time C'mon mate - is it so far out there that the team is getting beaten so easily because the players can't execute. The collusion and experience required at AFL level week in week out isn't there, it takes years to develop, and no one can deny we are not rebuilding. A lot of the anger on here is because we are. At no stage have I ever said Mark Neeld is not responsible for this - but I am not going to lay all the blame on him after he has been 27 games in, this time next year if we are this level - (which we probably will be with sacking coaches and making chages) I will be very disappointed
