Then you have to take your hat off to Neeld for saving the big effort for the last qtr I don't really beleive that - payers play - they coaches instruct but it dosen't always happen to plan You can't have your cake and eat it too Hardnut - when we are losing you can't blame it all on the coach then when we win not give credit Neeld is not out of the woods - but 12 goals in the last has to give us supporters and the players something to believe in

Will have to look at the tape - i hear what your saying jnrmac - where did that come from There was a lot of hunger and effort at the start of the last - i guess that lead to belief and it fed through the whole team, looking forward to watching that again

I guess now the question is when is the new tipping point??? I haven't looked too far ahead but a 10 goal loss to the lions wiill that be enought to see Neeld gone?? Clearly we are not out of the woods - hopefully the boys can put together a couple of qtrs against some quality opposition.

Watts is our new TJ for every good thing he does it is offset by a poor effort - I think Watts is talented but he comes across as a soft... Needs confidence

Not trying to argue with you tona but you're right its a massive difference when your winning contested footy and are able to play naturally to losing contests and being defensive all the time I haven't seen an MFC play as hard as they played in the last qtr for a long time and it shows the talent is there when we can win the ball Something that hasn't happened in the first 3 games And hats off to Byrnes and Pederson for solid games in the red and blue - both did some nice things when it mattered

Spot on CB I saw 22 blokes struggle to get through the 3 qtrs of footy and pretty much predicted this club was down for the count In that last qtr (which I plan to watch again with the rest of the game) I saw commitment I haven't seen from this side in years Lets hope it's the first buidling blcok and they can take 1 final qtr in to 2 to 3 to 4 qtrs of solid footy And i haven't said it yet - but stick it up your ass you media scab bastards - you'll have to wait 1 more week for MFC blood

Confidence is everything in footy and these blokes have copped it from everyone over the past 3 weeks It's easy to drop your head - it's a lot harder to come out and fight... As i've said we are not out of the woods - 1 great qtr agains equally poor opposition is not proven success - but let's hope the boys can build 2 qtrs out of what they acheived out of the last qtr today

Fair call mate But enjoy that the boys could pull that out of the bag People here are willing to bag the coach and the playing group for the losses - How about a little acknowledgement when they preform well? No one thinks we are back - but [censored] me the boys and coaching staff showed some guts at 3 qtr time

totally agree mate, I saw the writing on the wall at 3 qtr time, if we lost this club would have been ripped to shreads I understand that a clean slate can refresh a club, but how many re-builds can this club sustain? I'd be really disappointed if I heard the club say anything but there is a lot of hard work to do.... But that last qtr confirmed to me that given the chance and time to develop something speacial could develop with a lot of hard work.... And I don't thank anyone here is kiddinf themselves if it is Neeld or not - there is a lot, a [censored] lot of hard work to do to get this club back where it belongs

Mate spot on No one thinks our problems are over now we won 1 game - just a relief and some pressure of the club and no embarrassment for us supporters Lack of run and fading in the middle of the games are still big issures for whoever is coach We can all hold our heads high tonight though after that last qtr (for a week at least)

Even if it is GWS its great to be on the winning end of 12 goals in 1 qtr for once Still a lot of hard work to do - I hope for some at the club it confirms that hard work will pay off
