Very true DD.... Neon is definately more solid in the hip area and I would say he is a touch slower than Flash around the ground..... But both players (as you said) are proving a lot of people wrong.... Very important play makers for their respective teams, and both have obviously been working hard on their game over the last few years....

After being forced by the AFL to sit through another Friday night match involving Colling%^&* I have come to notice a strange similarity between one of their players and one of ours.... A few years ago I only rated the Filth player as a once every 6 week freak, but now he is a solid little play maker with exquisite skills by foot... Both players are looked for by their backmen to get the ball moving forward and in the hands of a team mate.... The kicks may only travel 20-25m, but each time they are perfect and straight on the other players [censored].... They both travel forward and can kick the goals that spark their team.... Whether it be running flat out into the forward 50 or crumbing around the goals.... If you have not guessed already, I am comparing Aaron Davey to Leon Davis.... It makes me sick to find similarities between a beloved Dee and a filthy, commission flat Pie..... But no $hit, they are fast becoming twins.... Just something I noticed last night that kept me from changing the channel

Cameron Bruce should finish his career with 300 goals.... If they do what they should when our youngsters develop and throw him in the forward line for the rest of his career!

Injuries happen..... Yes, it is frustrating.... Not many positives can come out of an injury to a young kid like this, but one thing is for sure..... He will be hungry as hell to get back into football once he has recovered.... And it also means he is forced to concentrate his gym work on his upper body for a while.... Just trying to find a silver lining...

Great to see Maric get another crack.... The kid is a brilliant talent and I would love to see him cement his spot in the side with some aggressive tackling and a couple of goals..... Also to see Jones on Chapman would be pretty amusing.... Could almost pass as twins! Except Chappy has a few more wrinkles!

6 - Davey (great all day long.... one of the few who can thread a pass) 5 - Moloney (busts his gut for the team every week) 4 - McLean (not at full throttle yet, but getting there) 3 - Frawley (great run off half back) 2 - Dunn (Tried hard all day and kicked our first goal) 1 - Rivers (slowly getting back to peak fitness and it is showing)

Keep Morton and Sylvia in for a few more weeks.... They are doing ok in my dream team!!! HaHa

Spencer is so much more encouraging to watch than PJ who is a few beers short of a six pack at the moment! PJ needs to dominate a few games for Casey to learn how to play football again..... He has had 4 shockers in a row and yet he doesn't get dropped?!?!?!

Yeah.... Mike Sheehan is a Melbourne supporter..... Obviously his career forces him to show no allegiance to any particular club, but he indeed is a "fan" of the club

Can't honestly see Robbo pulling the boots on for us this week.... Next week is a sure thing.... Maric is a better choice for this week.... Maric to kick 4 in 60% game time....

I'm sure he's glad he went inside as well..... Miller was my choice as captain for this season.... but J-Mac was the obvious choice for this year and possibly next if he continues on.... Brad Miller (if he continues this season as he has started) will be named the next captain of our club! If he can continue to improve and increase the size of his "tank", he may well be our version of Richo in a few years.... Just with a bit more team success (we hope) Go Dees!

You could see when he missed that shot from right in front that he knows he is fighting for a spot in the side.... It is just nerves at the moment because every behind means he is one step closer to being sent back to Casey.... He is a confidence player and now that he has been given a shot and kicked a couple of goals, he needs to be given a run of 5+ games to show DB what he has got to offer....
