  1. Where are you all getting this info??? I am listening to SEN online and getting nothing....
  2. I really wish people would take a few minutes out of their day to work out what is actually going on before freaking out!!!!
  3. 19,454 plus myself.... so 19,455 It always amazes me how you can cram so many people into a colostomy bag!! AAMI stadium here I come....
  4. Yes it is a disgrace what the SANFL are doing here in Adelaide.... Football at the Adelaide Oval would be absolute gold!! But instead I will have to venture once again down West Lakes Blvd to the colostomy bag of the AFL!! Oh the joy
  5. Spencer would not be getting a run if we had White in the side now..... Which, as ENforcer said, would lead to more problems down the track...... I am loving watching Jake Spencer out there learning his craft..... He is one of our most exciting prospects IMHO
  6. Exactly how many beers did you slam down before this little gem dawned on you???
  7. Go mate.... I'll be there.... I was there last week against the Filth and it will be interesting to see how the boys go with their first road trip of the year....
  8. The reason he played only 80 minutes was because he was having a shocker.... Not because he is being nursed back into it....
  9. Voted for Robbie..... But Matthews will smash that poll to pieces!!
  10. Fantastic analysis of the match mate. I was at the ground and didn't manage to see any tv footage so it is nice to hear someone's thoughts.... Bruce was everywhere as you said and no-one can question his effort.... It is just those "kick around the body without looking" moments that [censored] me off.... Once our younger mids get a bit more game time and he can be released into the forward line he will be worth his weight in goals!!! Very smart footballer!! As for McLean..... WTF is going on there??? All everyone keeps saying is how good he is and how he is our best player and how he is our next captain..... I am sorry, but what drugs have you all been taking??? The bloke has been telling us how fantastic his pre-season has been and how he is ready for a big year..... Brock McLean from what I witness (apart from 2 or 3 games) is a slow, unaware and unskilled bloke who should count himself very lucky to have been a Top 10 draft pick!! Prove me wrong.... Please!! As for the positives I saw on Saturday : Stef Martin = Very impressive.... Knows where to position himself in a contest and can take a grab Miller = Hits it up like a charging bull.... Just needs someone closer to goal to kick it to Petterd = Classy player who could be a very handy forward once he puts on a bit more size Cheney = Looks to be a really honest, hard at it defender.... Will improve greatly with more matches under his belt ie. decision making Bate = Needs to string a full season together and he will show us how valuable he will be forward of centre Spencer = Loving what I am seeing from him.... Keep persisting with him DB.... He is gonna be a ripper! Just a few of my thoughts..... Now I will sit back and wait for the abuse from Brock's legion of fans
  11. Not sure what you had for breakfast this morning..... Not a hope in hell of beating Adelaide at the G..... Unless of course they play 18 under 18's..... Who would probably still be too fast for us....
  12. Head out of Adelaide City via North Tce..... Vear right onto Port Road..... Travel about 8kms and turn left at West Lakes Bvd.... Vear right to stay on West Lakes Bvd and travel about 3kms and the hell hole will be on the left!! As for the best place to sit.... You will notice the feral dogs that congregate outside the ground waiting to get in and mate with all their flea infested brothers and sisters.... These are the beasts you want to stear clear of.... They may try and mount your legs as you walk past.... And by all means do not... I repeat DO NOT accept a drink out of their West End Draught cans!!! As you gingerly sneak past this lot and head into the ground, you will notice a foul stench that you may not have smelt before.... This is quite a pungent aroma that at first smells like rotting flesh, but after a few minutes you realise that it is nothing more than the smell of a football public who have all risen up off their [censored] stained mattresses and decided to venture out like moronic zombies to watch a team that believes it is the centre of all things football.... Do not be scared.... You have no doubt attended the odd Queens Birthday match.... Or if you are old enough you may have had the thrill of going to Windy Hill.... Or a day in the rain at Moorabbin.... These experiences will hold you in good stead for what you are about to witness.... A bunch of feral animals wearing one of the worst colours known to man (Teal) screaming their rotten mouths out at you and all things Red 'n Blue.... Be strong.... Find a friend.... And give 'em hell.... God knows they deserve it!! PS. To all my SA mates who happen to stumble across this post..... You know which bar I will be in on Sunday Come get some!!!
  13. I think DB will be moving up the list when he negotiates his next contract... I would imagine he will be pushing 500k the next time he puts pen to paper.... Results/Improvement in the list will guarantee this IMHO
  14. I will be there and I will probably be buying enough beer to quench the thirst of a football team on Mad Monday...... Will be a great day..... Go Dees!
  15. It is a fantastic day for our club and I look forward to celebrating with my MFC family when I travel to Melbourne for the big match on Saturday..... Regardless of the result on the day, the MFC is the winner!! Go Dees
  16. Ahhhh..... Of course it is good..... It is similar to the feeling of studying for years at Uni and then getting to the big exam day, and after completing the first page of questions, you realise you got 3/16 correct..... Boy how your spirits get boosted for the remainder of the exam
  17. The new coach has asked some hard questions of TJ over the pre-season, and has told him what is expected of him as a senior member of the club..... TJ has responded like he always does when questions are asked of him as a player.... It is just now a matter of wait and see if he rests on his one good performance or if he continues to lead the way up there in Brisbane town..... The change of club has been great for him..... I wish him success (as long as it is not against us)
  18. Will be watching on Fox from here in Adelaide..... I am not too sure what to expect from todays game.... I am definately expecting us to be competitive, but deep down I think I am expecting a win! Flying over to Melbourne on Thursday and will be at the big one next Saturday.... Would be nice to absolutely smash the Roos today and go in as favourites against that scumbag mob next week..... Pretty sure not many people would be expecting that!! HaHa GO Dees.....
  19. Wasn't the punch by Luke Hodge..... And yes he was reported for it..... Has a bad record at the tribunal, but you would think he would get off.... Was pretty soft....
  20. Always a laugh when those scumbags go down. In what is a strange ritual when they lose, they continue to go down in the rooms after the match!
  21. Rang the club this afternoon and organised to renew my membership..... On top of that, I have signed up my 10 week old son for the first of many memberships with our beloved club..... Really starting to get excited about where the club is heading..... GO Dees
  22. Number of wins: 6 Average losing margin: 31 Average winning margin: 23 B&F top 3: 1. Brad Green, 2. Col Sylvia, 3. Simon Buckley Leading goal-kicker: Matthew Bate (44 goals) All Australian representatives: None Top votes at the Brownlow: Col Sylvia (13 votes) Best first year player: R. Bail Breakthrough year (first-year players do not count): Simon Buckley Disappointment of the year: Injuries to key midfielders by Rnd 6 (I had a dream and it was too real) Biggest area of improvement: F50 entries and backline strength Surprise packet of 2009: Simon Buckley Headline of the year: Buckley praises Buckley (Nathan writes an article on Simon tearing the filth a new one on QB) Best win of the year: QB (12 point come from behind win against the Pies.... Buckley 38 pos.) Worst loss of the year: Rnd 2 (Collingwood by 10 goals) Final membership numbers: 31,009
  23. You can't be serious?!?!?! I had the same dream! I even woke the missus up and told her about it..... I hope it doesn't come true!!
  24. A class above his age group when I have seen him play here in Adelaide..... Showed sublime skills and also read the play better than anyone on the ground.... The way he reads the play is very similar to one Mr Rivers! Unfortunately it looks like he may also have the same luck with injuries..... Once he gets his body right, everyone will know who Tom McNamara is.....
