A bit of an unexpected appointment. But hopefully he is up to the challenge that is the Melbourne Football Club. Gotta change his red and black ties to red and blue ones now (seeing as he is or was an Essendon supporter). Good luck to Paul Guerra! Welcome to the Melbourne Demons as our new CEO! 🔴🔵👹 Main objectives... 1) Building our new Home Base at Caulfield Race Course (the top priority). 2) Keeping out of any football department business unless directed to by the Melbourne Football Club Board. 3) Growing our membership numbers to 75,000+ or more. 4) Developing a new Strategic Plan for the Melbourne Football Club for the next 5+ years. 5) Helping the Melbourne Football Club to win more Premierships.

Was great to have 2 wins in a row. Thought Xavier Lindsay was amazingly cool headed and plays like a 150 gamer already. How wonderful is it to have some excellent kicks in the team? Max Gawn was a colossus for the Demons. An incredible game. But how disturbing was it that we let Richmond dominate the last 10 minutes of the game when he was resting on the bench in the 4th quarter?! Is Tom Fullarton up to it? Or should be play both Tom Campbell and Max Gawn together in the same team? Jake Bowey also deserves some credit. His game was fantastic in that "quarterback" role on the half back flank. Would Jake Bowey be currently leading the Best & Fairest for the Demons?

Thought Fritta did what he needed to kicking a few goals against Richmond. However, he still needs to aim to make at least ONE tackle per quarter. I think that is a reasonable objective.

I would rather have Tom Campbell playing in the ruck with Max Gawn. But 2 wins in a row is pleasing. Xavier Lindsay is definitely as cool as a cucumber. Jake Bowey was impressive. He might even be leading our Best & Fairest?

Another exciting young talent from the Demons NGA. Hope he continues to grow a few more centimetres too.

If there's one last thing that Brad Green can do, while he is still President, then he needs to continue to lobby to the AFL that the Melbourne Demons should be able to claim Tairon Ah-Mu as part of our NGA.

I just thought Harvey Langford was a big strong lad who looked tough and determined. The nickname of "The Bison" was only a suggestion. But I am quite pleased that it has caught on. 😊

Another question.... How good were both Max Gawn and Kozzy Pickett yesterday?! Kozzy Pickett reminded me of a prime Jeff "The Wizard" Farmer yesterday with the way he played and impacted the game against Freo.

Over the moon to have Harvey "The Bison" Langford at the Melbourne Demons. Was great that he also kicked the match winning goal against Freo yesterday. I think the young fella would have to be close to leading the Rising Star Award for this year so far?

I thought Tom Fullarton played his role. Hopefully, he can begin impacting the score board with a few goals. But I think he definitely helps in the ruck giving a nice chop out for Max Gawn.

Hoping to see Blake Howes play wing or half forward eventually! But I will give credit where credit is due though....he played his role against Freo.

A disappointing effort by Casey. I thought they looked "strong" on paper, but obviously not as strong as GWS. We definitely need to raid the Giants with so much talent being wasted at VFL level with them. Wade Derksen for GWS in particular may still be keen to join the Demons after missing out on a trade to us at the end of last season. Hoping Jai Culley and Luker Kentfield continue to find match fitness and start impacting games more. Would love to see Jai Culley earn a 2nd chance at AFL level. But he needs to earn it first. He needs to be averaging 25+ possessions and 1 or 2 goals a game to get an opportunity.

Hoping we get a big crowd of around 80,000 for the ANZAC Day Eve game against Richmond!

A great win by the Demons. The pressure should be temporarily alleviated from Simon Goodwin. Kozzy Pickett was definitely the match winner. My question is....how good is Harvey "The Bison" Langford?! Glad that he, Xavier Lindsay, Harry Sharp and Tom Fullarton all got to finally taste their first victory for the Demons!

Agreed. Blake Howes is a wingman or a half forward. It's a failed experiment. I would rather be giving Jed Adams a chance, at least he's a key defender.

It is ancient history now, but I agree. We should never have appointed Dean Bailey as coach back at the end of 2007. That was a massive blunder. It should of been Kevin Sheedy, at least in my opinion, but it doesn't matter now. What happens this year in 2025 depends upon both the Demons players and Simon Goodwin. Either we succeed with this new game plan or we fail. Time is ticking though....as there are ALOT of angry Melbourne supporters out there.

No to Hird. Simon Goodwin is coaching for his career. The next month will show whether he can implement his new game plan or if it is a failure. Time is against him. John Longmire is the man we want as the next coach of the Melbourne Football Club.

Congratulations to Tom "Cream" Fullarton getting his debut for the Demons. All I will say to him is that he must COMPETE in every marking contest he can. He should aim to try and kick at least one goal in each quarter (if possible). Wishing him all the best! ❤️💙

Will really find out over the next few weeks if the Demons players actually "love" Simon Goodwin. If we cannot win a game over the next month or so then Simon Goodwin will be sacked. Every Melbourne supporter I have spoken to is very angry about our current predicament. It is totally unacceptable!

We desperately need another good quality tall forward. But the Demons should only take JUH if he changed his attitude and behaviour.
