Maybe the Hawks were just asking Mitch how he got on with his new teammates partners? Maybe it was a bit too close to home, Mitch was upset and used the depression card to complain about it? Maybe those in the industry know more about MC's story and not afraid to use it to upset him on the field?

Have said to Saty in the past that I think he will win a Bluey in the near future, just needs to improve his disposal a touch

This leak you would think had to come from the AFL. Just more proof of how incompetant and untrustworthy they were while run by Dimwit, but hey at least he got lots of money from the broadcasters. This is despicable behaviour by said employees of the AFL, but not surprising at all.

A very high quality player who comes across as a fantastic kid. I think this kid has all the tools to become our best recruit in over a decade. Am thrilled he has signed on, a great show of faith in the direction our club is heading.

Roos not playing kids early is often quoted here but not really true, rather he only plays those that have earnt it. If I recall correct, JKH played round 1 last year after a very good preseason.

Crazy isn't it? Col comes across as very honest when he speaks and I have heard him give some fantastic interviews. To add to my point before, higher fitness levels, harder running will lead to players getting open more giving the player with the ball open targets and (theoretically) leading to better disposal efficiency

Do the two have to be mutually exclusive? I would have hoped that the increased fitness levels lead to players feeling less fatigue during games and that would lead to a higher quality of disposals.

They were unprofessional, that was what was so frustrating. If you are going to widely advertise a time, cross check and make sure you get it right. At normal training sessions, I have been burnt by time changes and have not cared, but when they publicly push an open session as much as they do it is amateur hour to say the least. Their response since has been great, but fact is they shouldn't be in the situation they are now in. I hope like hell they learn a lesson from this, but I won't be holding my breath.

So the communications department widely advertised a training session after failing to communicate with the FD and the failed to communicate effectively with the affected fans. Keystone cops anyone?
