  1. So eye gouging, sorry "pressure points", and the chicken wing incident on defenseless players were not cowardly acts?
  2. Please let's not assume Matt Jones willplay every game until round 15
  3. eye gouging, twice, chicken wings.... perfectly fair IMO
  4. his second Brownlow was a sham, he may have been best that year but far from fairest. his dirty elbow to Pavlic, which led to three stitches and blood pouring from the Postman's face was deemed as having insufficient force for him to be charged. was probably the most disgraceful decision by the dodgy tribunal of that year. Judd, amazing footballer, but a dirty player who committed many cowardly acts. up their with Lethal, amazing and courageous player, but at the same time, a cowardly thug
  5. Really feel for Grimes, I think he's disposal has improved a lot this year, something he has received little credit for here. As with others, baffled that Matt Jones can get a game ahead of him. As for Watts, would just love for him to lay a full blown tackle, not the weak arm tackles he has been doing.
  6. Actually, think the kids made up the dance in 2009, is why I find the timing of the "war cry" a bit odd. That said, I had wanted to avoid the thread, maybe it's best I blend in..... Just another reminder of why I was happy to leave Australia, though the racism on display by a few here is quite minor to that I have experienced and witnessed while working around my country that I was once so proud of and loved so much. It's amazing how much more you experience once you go from being a white Christian, to a Muslim (not that you would know it from meeting me) in an interracial marriage...
  7. Our tackles against the Crows was high, but theirs was higher, think about 110 and it was the first time Adelaide had laid over 100 tackles in a match
  8. Anyone know Gaz? If you do, call him up and get him to nominate the purple headed [censored] and that [censored] Hutchy and they will smash $40,000 in no time... Horrible news for the Daniher's, all the best to them
  9. What a crock of sh.... 2006, Melbourne were the best performed Victorian team, 2 Friday night games, neither a home game in 2007 Wasn't sure if you were serious, but realised you are, yet you use Carlton as an example. 2-3'years of good consistent footy means they are rewarded with all these Friday night games. Were those 2-3 years in the '90's or 80's. Talk about clubs ran by amateurs, Carlton competes with us at that level. Using them to support your argument, destroys it
  10. The media talked about their rehabilitated side a lot. They hardly ever mentioned the fact that while in jail, Chan sent a threatening letter to one of his 17 year old drug mules who was caught in Honkers to keep her mouth shut. I reserve the right to be sceptical on these rehabilitated claims
  11. No problem with questioning the misuse of power, what annoys me is that for so many, lives of Australians are much more important than those from other countries (and us Aussies are far from the only nation guilty of this) Three days after the earthquake, while people were dying buried under there house, the media treated them as an afterthought as two Australian drug traffickers were being executed. I would love to see those who campaigned so strongly to save the lives of 2 Aussies in Indonesia do the same thing to help save the lives of thousands upon thousands facing a potential death sentence in Nepal
  12. Love all the experts saying how Dom wasn't up to it etc etc Yet Paul Roos saw enough to give Dom a new contract last year
  13. I just wish all the Aussies who spent so much time campaigning for a couple of drug traffickers would spen a fraction of that time trying to raise money for the hundreds of thousands of Nepalis who have lost their homes through no fault of their own.
  14. No but had read a guest of a Richmond function was being investigated for calling Houli a terrorist. Article never mention MFC or whether a Melbourne fan, though from it I got the impression that he wasn't.
  15. All good here, though the nerves are shot, having the wife and kids doesn't help with that. Need our next game to hurry up as could do with a good dose of shouting at the maggots!
  16. That sucks big time. Though he was one of our best till he hurt himself. That said, just had another aftershock here, so no longer upset about this.
  17. Only saw a highlights package, but the blood I saw streaming from next to Chapmans eye suggests it was a bit more than barely
  18. Adelaide have always been a bunch of petulant and pathetic sooks. The way they threw Trenners under a bus with the bad concussion Dangerfield got (before kicking 5 goals the next week) will live in my memory for a long time. The club have a record of going to the tribunal and exaggerating incidents to get people rubbed out. A bunch of flogs
  19. Such a pity Wolfmother's post was deleted, would have answered so many questions. Maybe we could pester that purple headed prat on twitter with questions that he could ask Mitch. Maybe he could ask Mitch if he had done his best Wayne Carey impersonation and whether this was a large factor in his depression? Maybe he could ask Mitch whether the AFL forced him to fake an injury while he sorted out his issues? Now that may be an interview from purple I could actually watch.
