I fear something like this. I might think the backlash from the general populous as well as the non aligned media might prove sobering though. -

Now that Ryder is public youd have to think a few others wont be far behind. Good mindset going into a final !! Cant wait for the official spin out of the Hill . Ought to prove entertaining. Think they just hit an iceberg ! -

At best they might get 12 months...partially backdated to the original show cause timeline. That would take them out of nearly all next season. -

Which bit of tainted do so many fail to grasp ? There is currently NO deal on any table for Essendon. Highly unlikely to go down similar to Cronulla. -

Indeed they did. Also the idea of the Windy litigation is some forlorn hope that Middleton will deliberate and order that these and future SCN's are invalid. I dont know how that can occur but its what Little is aiming for. That and to delay beyond this draft and trade period. If as has been suggested Middleton may return sooner rather than later then I would think Essendon are well and truly in the poo. If they are stymied at that point together with players walking then their situation becomes quite untenable. A worst case scenario for them is this weekend is their LAST game. Go Roos !!! -

Funny thing about cracks and be under no illusion there's an almighty fissure opening up out Windy Hill way , is that they seldom get smaller ! Once the "official solidarity " is broken more will part like an iceberg breaking up....bit by bit 'til there's sfa left. If , and I can see no reason on the surface why he wouldn't be , Ryder is successful in triggering his walk from Essendon I should have no doubt a small line will appear behind him. Just where they actually think they're going is another thing. They must be rolling the dice big time to think that the Middleton decision will fall their way and prevent ASADA pursuing the SCN's. ASADA will be like a dog and a bone . The players are naive if they think they can simply walk away and into new climes. They are leppers. Maybe thats why Ryder thinks he can go to the Lions perhaps -

Before anyone goes shopping for any bombers understand theyll all soon be off the market for a while pure folly to take any of them -
Im hoping another preseason under Stone will straighten his errant ways!!
-
If a cheap pickup could prove an excellent fillip.
-
hope youre right

I kinda like Max. He's just starting to step up a bit .....and then this. I can't help but think similarly to OD and wonder if this just isn't a little too ominous. These sort of injuries have a nasty habit of revisiting.. I hope he can play for years as previously suggested he starting to come into his game a bit and he , i think, has the right demeanor. I suppose we'll know better come the end of the pre season.

I'm somewhat amused that there's any move to secure Bomber at all. Firstly it would seem an extravagance to have him as early as next season even if he was a candidate of any kind. Secondly I wouldnt be going near anything ESSENDON whilst no outcome to the current dilemma is resolved. and Thirdly. By many accounts if you were to apply the Roos no DH rule ...Thompson would fail !!

tbh i'm not fussed if this 'person' doesnt't appear until the end of next season. That would be logical....to me

This isnt about good or bad per se...its about what the AA brigade consider to be. and ppl get knickers in knots move on
-
If theres an upside....should he have been in contention? for sure. He's there abouts, but the AA is not an absolute. Nor does it really matter as such. ask any player what matters
-
No its not,.......its just a list...its made up... There are no hard and fast rules. I understand the disappointment many have for Jones though really its in many ways Dee supporters vicariously grasping at some form of plaudit. Funny how many take this almost personally. Jones is just as good today as he will; be tomorrow. None of this matters
