This Draft ( for us ) reads like some sort of hollywood feel good movie where at the end everyone lives happily ever after. Billy Stretch's mate, Neal-Bullen is pinching himself he gets to reunite with a good friend and they get to start off their AFL careers together. Big Tom gets to annoy " little" (gulp ) Oscar all over again .........Brothers in arms The two scallywags in Brayshaw and Petracca were probably of a mind theyd be having to battle against each other , then fate stepped in!! cant wait to see what happens next in "Melbourne's Melting Moments !! "

this ^^^^ We've got ourselves a footy team...just needs a bit of time to get its act together with development ( which we can do now ) We can continue topping up but we can take it to many a team now. The FD has some new shiny toys to play with joyous times await

There's actually a fair bit of realism and intelligence in that....Only an idiot wastes their time Brash, Cocky, Belligerent even... but not silly !! just saying I dont suffer fools gladly either and it did probably cost me a few jobs along the way. Lifes too short to waste on idiots or timewasters. I dont really care why we end up with the two best mids.... just happy to... BOOOORAH !!!

Funniest thing about all of this is the notion that somehow StKilda lauds having high psych requirements. Anyone who has ever followed this rabble over the years will know they epitomise bi polar behaviour at a club level and secrete untoward antics at a player level. Place is a looney bin at the best of times just primed to turn on their own or selves. Id want to fail their eval test too !!
-
still reckon he fudged it to get to us
-
Id include Cross in the list of able midfielders But I acknowledge your thinking.. we need that critical mass in the middle and Petracca ( when he gets up to speed...whenever..could be round 1 or 11 ..just saying ....as to Brayshaw also ) gets us a might closer to it if there.
-
I dont think we'd lose out with Paddy.. The forward line would become possibly horrendous for opponents but I just have a gut feeling we'll be better off loading the guts with go at it players and as such Petracca seems a better prize. Others suggest we cant really lose and we cant ( surely...surely we couldnt ) but i think you win more with one than the other. We'll know soon

we could have a Nanna nap after some nana fritters in the arvo.....theres method here in my madness OD

Ive mentioned this lad elsewhere quite some time ago. He seems under the radar....or he may not even be on it..lol I doubt he'll figure in the ND but as we have a couple of spots on our Rookie list and as we get to go fairly early, though Sainters I think now have 4 rookie spots going, but a name appears every now and then that intrigues me as good bad or indifferent his size and position are very much the new Roos prototype utility player. I speak of Matthew Panos. Hes in that mould , taller , bigger bodied type mid. Reinvented himself and was good enough for Best on Ground recently for Norwood in winning the Premiership. you dont need to be a star, just a good week in week out role player just putting it out there and we move on
