He was a #1..but as you suggest that is not the issue.Interesting lot to choose from...and by default Jack wins. I would want Jack to be best 22 against a much better crop of options. Reality is i suspect if all fut..Jack comes in under the line. That he did also when an incomplete list presented confounds even me. The club has concerns. He may have run out of time and the patience of those who matter. If thats the case...so be it. I want a good list...care not who is actually on it....scoreboard doesn't. .just saying

Stuie..my point is...No one need buy into or retort to that. Do they ? It's irrelevant. If we all just keep blinkered to what happens on the paddock it's clearer as to Jack's value to our list. Jack has pluses...he has minuses. The scoreboard only cares about the game So what is that value...above or below the pass line ?

Stuie...who gives a flying f**k mate We judge him from afar for his efforts on the field. apparently hes a top bloke..thats marvee. Many are confusing or at least compounding unnecessary elements. What does Watts bring to our game ? Lets keep it dog f simple. All these personal squabbles are just bullshlt. 18 blokes take the field at any given time. Who are the best ones...actually what is the best combination ? What are our pluses and what are our gaps ? Is Jack Watts relevant to us going forward ? Increasingly i think NO Am curious to see what the club does. But let's keep this simple

Had a think about this. So many pkayers are a gamble but with Bennell you at least know the exhilaration of his UPside. We simply need a big injection of ability. They work...or they don't. If not breaking the bank or back of the club...roll the dice I say.

Salem can still use the ball as play works through the guts but im sure he'll settle into the little Generals role off half back.

With Salem building his game....Oscar developing...Frost to come back in, I don't think the back end is a worry. Col stay/go....whatever works best

I like this lad. He has skills and ability. More importantly he can play footy. He has some mates who can too. Funny really isn't it....when talking about the good ones there's not a lot you need to say. I enjoy watching him play, immensely.

Melksham has a very dark cloud hovering above him. A deluge of Biblical proportion will descend in a short while. Why anyone even contemplates him, or ANY of the '34' is beyond reason or sense.

Watts without doubt polarises many. I would suggest that the fodder of nearly all that is surmised eminates from what happens on the field ( where it matters) Only one person causes this. He wears #4 He came 18th in club voting this year. Hes dropped himself and been dropped. A rarity in having an abundance of skill,ability and decision making. Means squat if its effectively without affect. For reasons best known to Jack playing footy for the MFC just doesn't gel. Thats a real shame and no doubt disappointing for the lad ( it certainly is for us supporters) Competition at elite levels is both demanding and ruthless in adjudication. In black and white (pardon ) your either part of a solution or part of a problem. Im now convinced the best thing for all is for Jack to reboot at another club. Hell have the monkey off his back and can start anew. Is that maligning him ? For mine its just a matter of fact (literally..as the facts are results to date ) assessment. It's about the club.
