well... the people that are looking for sponsors I doubt will be the same ones receiving our emails at the club.. Personally Im all for bombarding or club.. telling them what WE think OUR club ought to be doing about it.. Vlad and Co dont listen to wee lil folk.. they listen to clubs.. lets let the Club ( OUR CLUB!! ) know what we think IT might be doing about this !!!!!!!!!

problem is.. not really enough room for al lof Warnock.. PJ.. and Russian.. not with a few kids looming. PJ can ruck a little. but also very handy.. Jamar possibly a little better as outright ruck.. totally useless otherwise.. PJ can adequately releive Warnock.. and still be usefull in a 22 lineup.. Jamar's time has come ..and gone !!

What I think many miss is the spirit of the original post. I dont think ( and correct me if wrong please SD ) that anyone is suggesting setting up a card table at AFL house and giving away anyone with a 50c cup of lemonade etc. What I think is proffered as the point is that ANYONE is up for grabs..That there ar NO safe positions as such. If you are good and have earnt your stripes and are STILL important to us ( the Dees ) then your value in any negotiatons will reflect that. There are undoubtedly players that the Footy dept would rather keep and build around, that fairly much a given , but often what one club sees in a player isnt always what another does. Player "X" may not be seemingly ticking all the boxes and home club ..but 'other' club might just have that magical square hole for him..all clubs needs whilst similar..are DIFFERENT. Clever trade and baragaining skills revolve around the iea that you listen to EVERYTHING.. doesnt mean you accept all. but you listen..That mean your open to anything..again acceptance is a different fish. You just never know whats on offer if your doors are closed.

Baz..i dont see that that necessarily follows.. For a player who has had resticted play time this year I would think some finals time would be ideal. They can manage his preseason if required. Experience..is experience !!

I concur.. ..actually been saying this for years...both that "stats" are dubious at best and secondly that if footy was tag, and youre near Bruce..and he offloads. then YOURE IT !! lol Bruces passing by foot actually seems to have improved this year. Not a world shattering achievement in that he nearly kicks at AFL level, not quite, but nearly.. His handpasing ?? For any footballer his handpassing is weak, ineffectual and borderline dangerous for the recipient. For a supossed elite player its diabolical !! All that effort.. for such lousy results

He walked !! We can only speculate..but why would there be any onus on Bris to pay out anything..they didnt sack him. I purely have the feeling he may enjoy a year off..as it were.. Recharge the batteries... have a think etc. Leigh is a man who much prefers to do things on his terms ( good for him ) He's wise enough and intuitive enough to know when to go..and he has.
