  1. how do we have so many 'bull' midfielders yet routinely get slaughtered around stoppages?
  2. may's kicking is diabolical if it's not long
  3. was a hip to the head on the follow thru
  4. we look so disorganised around the contest
  5. he'd be excellent senior player depth to bring in
  6. north's backline make-up is interesting that combden is clearly going to be the #1 key defender going forward, corr has had a nice bit of kanga superannuation in his final years as an afl player, and luke mcdonald is a battler currently they're playing their future midfield - sheezel and wardlaw, plus mckercher when he's fit - down there how that helps develop their backline i do not know
  7. definitely no mfcss today because, quite frankly, we should be a significantly better side it would require something very strange happening for us to lose this one
  8. he'll take a guilty plea you'd imagine it'd start at 4 weeks
  9. this is quite common these days, depending upon which industry you are in
  10. who took the kick-ins with tomlinson not playing?
  11. just get it done and get it over and done with
  12. dimma lost the first, what, 9 games of his coaching career? that worked out orright
  13. throwback to their colours from 1915-22
  14. bedford's field kicking has been diabolically bad
  15. harmes has been good for the dogs
  16. didn't see any of this game - but wanted to comment on this which was accidentally posted on another thread... based on amw's seasons as a forward previously, he didn't apply that requisite pressure at least as a running half-back he is routinely getting involved in overlap play i'm not convinced his skills are good enough for him to make it at afl level, but he's only just learning the role this season
  17. who? i've seen james jordon win a flag already...
  18. petty or plugger mac will need to ruck as required, i guess?
  19. couldn't agree more it will open up space on the field, but i wouldn't do it in conjunction with a reduced quarter length i would however make it so that you only play every team once in the home and away season; ironically that would be easier to achieve with the introduction of a 19th team and the necessity of a bye
  20. well, sort of if he didn't play well, he wouldn't hold his spot they offered him opportunity to cement it that we couldn't; chandler is a better player imo
  21. i'm almost certain attendance at games has minimal impact upon a club's bottom line it's tickets sold, corporate functions, sponsorship dollars, control of the gate, ownership of the hoardings... attendance? looks good in a press release
  22. seven actually you forgot about spargo in opening round
