  1. they really didn't
  2. yeah, and the dog wasn't happy with my reaction to the non-free for koz either
  3. if our players didn't get free kicks when they're clearly clobbered high like ginnivan is i would be ropeable i know there's this perception that he 'ducks' into the tackle...but he's knee high to a grasshopper and constantly gets taken high through no real fault of his own
  4. tigs dropping lilke flies - balta out for 4-6 with an mcl and lynch needs surgery on a hamstring tendon injury
  5. frost's ability to run himself out of position is quite something he's a very good reader of the play but once he gets the ball in hand he's so unpredictable
  6. worth remembering that the crom will be looking to trade out of the pointy end of the 2024 draft as their father-son selection - tyler, son of scott, welsh - is likely considered a top selection
  7. i've always found it strange that they adopted that inxs song - i know it was about the split forced on them between afl and sanfl versions of 'port adelaide', but it's played out now with the teams being together for a long time now once the port maggies leave the sanfl for the vfl / national reserves competition in the coming years, it really won't be applicable at all anymore
  8. lynch a hamstring
  9. how humble is he? in career best form
  10. if he can do what he did in the last 45 mins of a game like that with one hand, imagine how good he'll be when he has two working mitts?
  11. what happened to lynch?
  12. if you look at their history, this is what they do - compete and be there or thereabouts, win a premiership, hang around competing, bottom out... rinse / repeat they've only been out of finals for three seasons, and presumably 2024 will be their fourth missing out in a row
  13. when you really don't want to be poor in 2027-2031 they - and the eventual 20th team - will pick the eyes out of the draft
  14. other than reid, if there's a meth coke player i'd target to come to a third club and finish his career playing in a finals side it's elliot yeo over tim kelly
  15. i'm very curious as to whether he stays as a wingman his entire career or eventually shift to being able to rotate into an on-ball role his ability to break away from the contest is a weapon
  16. go get him, tim lamb
  17. the exceptions that proved the rule i was sitting high up in the ponsford; the only row behind us filled up and the chap sitting behind us looked through the gaping hole where the southern stand was being built and said "huh...you can see the dandenongs from here" you couldn't see what was happening deep in the forward pocket underneath us tho
  18. the half time switch of petty to a defensive forward role on aliir was inspired
  19. i think derm just recalled beating up on us his entire playing career and, as such, considers us inferior an inherent bias
  20. IN: May OUT: Hore hore to be the sub again
  21. the maggots had no effect on the result i don't reckon it was a super game of footy which, in the cold light of a win, i can bask in the glory of watching
  22. another jt special his defensive efforts are even more impressive than his run and carry
  23. the amount of whinging about the umpires - from both sets of supporters - is pretty extraordinary
  24. imo that was a win for the ages two top 4 sides who failed in finals going hammer and tongs great footy to watch as a neutral; absolute nailbiter as a fan
  25. 6: neal-bullen 5: gawn 4: oliver 3: rivers 2: brown 1: langdon apologies to everyone in the backline, who were unreal i thought
