yeah, everyone is saying this kid is elite i believe he's the first underage kid to play in three consecutive u/18 premierships in a row...and be one of the best players all three years how he's not universally acknowledged as the consensus #1 pick i have no idea

i have absolutely no idea re the kids, but based on what i've been reading for the last couple of months i would quite like two players who play in multiple premierships for the mfc seven would be good in a row starting next season no pressure

yes, lack of development pathways and funding doesn't help when, for over 15 years now, $$s have been invested in northern franchises for, thus far, very little return gerard healy has been banging on about it; there have been two players come through the gw$ academy, and one of them only JUST snuck into the zone by comparison, where there was no development pathway in sydney's west, there was double the # of players coming through the same region in the previous decade

one of the things that i love about his development is that he's been playing at senior wafl level - including in a premiership - after the u/18 championships that's great preparation for coming up against bigger bodies in 2025 super impressed by his tackle #s - 6 in the grand final and 11 in his first senior game post champs
