I think it's a coaches directive for him to take the risky kick, almost always looks into the centre first. Just guessing of course, but if it is the case then you'll cop his mistakes. That kick across goal last week was a real shocker though. I'm a huge fan though, and cannot believe how he's come on so quickly, didn't look anywhere near it in NAB.

Yeah, it's Dean Kent, hardly a wordsmith. The fact that he said all this before a ball was bounced makes a big difference, he's never put a block of form like this together before. No one looks like they're enjoying this team form more than him IMO, nothing to see here.

Not a big loss in my opinion. I think the youthful enthusiasm is driving our good football, helps that the kids are built for it and have talent, and they're being fed by Max Gawn. They get the modern game and they're enjoying it. There's a lot of experienced players around the league struggling to cope with how footy is being played.

Watching the replays of our wins this year, I took note of Pedo and Frost in particular. The thing that stood out is how underrated Pedo's forward pressure is. Frost, even by me, gets talked up as adding great pressure, and he does, but Pedo's pressure has been fantastic, and his tackles and bumps in the forward line have lead to far more goals than Frost has contributed to. Also his speed and fitness have been really impressive. I'm glad threads like this are giving him the recognition he deserves for his hard work.

Played under 13's for Bentleigh Juniors. But parents didn't want their kids to play against me because they didn't want them to get hurt by my sledging.

Need his left foot. He's a better footballer than Michie in every way. I feel bad for Michie but it's an easy swap.
