  1. And just snuck in!
  2. And what, want to clone him? I bet Rory Sloane wishes he had that body shape playing along side him last Satdee. Edit: I assumed you were talking about Petracca, forgot there was the other bloke in the thread title.
  3. Could be the beard, which has been proven to enhance performance. I'll also add that he gets ripped off for holding the ball after his tackles at least once a game.
  4. Just wanted to start a new thread on Jeff's 2017 form. It's outstanding. He's in elite territory this season when it comes to small forwards. 20 goals, equal to the raved about Toby Greene and Robbie Gray. 5 behind Betts who plays in the highest scoring team in the league. 35 tackles, which is miles above any forward other than Charlie Dixon (if you can believe that) with 30. Betts has 22, Gray 19, Greene 16. Not only his tackling, just his pressure in general has been fantastic, honestly like a new player, he's always chasing. Was nothing like this last year. For me his most impressive games have been in our losses, hard position to play in and he's really worked his arse off in those losses. I thought he was falling away a bit last year, but it's time he got some acknowledgement for his form of late.
  5. We are due such a blessing.
  6. So he's due for his injury then.
  7. The Crows game day thread on big footy is [censored] insane. You'd think they haven't won a game for 5 years.
  8. That was brilliant.
  9. FB: JSmith, Frost, Jetta HB: Hunt, TMac, Hibberd C: Vince, Jones, Salem HF: Petracca, Watts, Kent FF: Pedersen, Hogan, Garlett FOLL: Gawn, Oliver, Viney INT: ANB, Lewis, Tyson, Stretch
  10. The fact that both are at my club just made me all warm and fuzzy. But absolutely Oliver over Hogan. All starts in the middle. And he's already one of the best mids I've seen at the Dees.
  11. No we wouldn't rather Mills or Oliver? I'd have Oliver over everybody.
  12. 6 - Viney. Complete game. Drove us forward always (and through them). 5 - Vince. His role was so important, Sloane drives them, Vince took the keys. 4 - Petracca. Forward and mid he was great. Too strong, too good. 3 - Hibberd. Mops [censored] up, gets us out of pickles, strong and smart, ripping game. 2 - Oliver. Because Oliver. 1 - I really can't decide between Tmac and Pedo. Both structurally important. Both played equally well. .5 each. That was difficult. lol look at the players that missed out.
  13. When he's on, he's my favourite to watch. Straight ahead juggernaut through congestion. Little burst away and we're out. It's refreshing from the often too much [censored] around. Had to be something up with him earlier this year.
  14. Sloane is their leadership. Not much Tex can do while he's up one end wondering how many rings Frost is going to run around him. Agree though, surely after 15 minutes you start blocking and sticking up for your best mid, especially after it just happened the week before. Sloane is such an inside/outside gun, the rest of their midfield is no-names that live off him. These 2 weeks have put big dent in the Crows campaign. @McQueen was right after all that North exposed a glaring weakness.
  15. Put your jacket on, you've failed the test.
  16. I've never seen tackling like that from us. Apparently it's the 6th time we've had 90+ tackles. Well I don't remember those games, I'll never forget this one. I gave us no chance (I'm pessimistic at the best of times) watching Adelaide waltz through defences all year and watching average teams waltz through ours, I just thought they'd outscore us easily on a bad day. The defence was my highlight. The team defence and the defenders themselves. Starting with Bernie playing where he should be and shutting out Sloan - what a job in your 200th. The defenders beat the best, most dynamic forward line in the league. Hunt and Hibberd are the perfect HBF combo. Hibberd is a sensational pick up, I knew he could play but he's stepped up a gear. Hunt is just an awe inspiring player, with out without the ball. My heart [censored] sank seeing him out cold, at the same time I was just so proud of how hard he is. Frost is having a ripper. His dare and pace, he's like a giant Hunt, not a typo. It's the 2nd week in a row Goodwin's moves have changed a game. Tmac forward and Petracca in the guts. He knows what stings to pull on game day. Petracca is just a beast, I know him going into the middle was huge, but his work up forward shouldn't be overlooked either, such a competitor. Oliver is [censored] amazing. Nothing I can say hasn't been said (maybe his tackling doesn't get mentioned enough, Vice like machine, and that run down!). What a [censored] goal. One of the best I've seen. In real time I thought he just smashed it on the boot and it fluke went through. In slow mo it's a work of art. Leaders stood up. Jones kicking goals we really needed at the time. Viney is back to brute mode, 2 outstanding games in a row. Nearly fell off my chair when he kicked one on his right! Tmac really competed and gave us just what we needed up forward. Not sure if Weideman or Byron Pickett, huge tackles from the kid! Loved that. Finally Pedo. This guy is giving his all and then some. 3 great goals, just bashing in (but please take it down a notch in junk time, I nearly died 3 times thinking he hurt himself) and giving us a chance. He's going to be remembered fondly at this club after this stint. Go you [censored] Demons!
  17. Kent in junk food time cements his spot! Beauty.
  18. How good is this. Vince KO'ing that green thing the turning point.
  19. Kent needs to eat someone at least this quarter. Do something tonnes of fun.
  20. Why does my ticker feel like it's gunna pack it in when we're winning. Come on you Dees, this is a [censored] ripping effort. Petracca is a beast.
  21. I love Hibberd. And Pedo.
