As much as that article got me excited I truly do not think we will. We have a hardish draw, still rely on too few, this year we need to get to 10 wins, with luck we finish 8th. -
FIog of the highest order!

The injuries in the mid nineties to all our best players pretty much was horrible, but none more so than the Ox. My fav player and who ever inherits the great mans #5 gets my support ?? Neitz a AA CHB at 21, Ox tearing the comp up. He was as good as Carey, better at the X factor and agility side of things, same sort of courage, Carey would have had him for leadership I reckon and prob the constant ability to turn a game in five minutes. But the Ox was a special special player.

Tom McDonald needs to take a good hard look at himself.
Gorgoroth replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Tmac is a terrible kick, never gets any height in the kick or penetration. He should realise he undoes all his good defending by thinking he can kick the football. The coaches need to point this out to him and modify his game accordingly. -
A couple of thoughts from my good self. Watts was very good, Oliver will play round one. Bugg was sloppy in the first quarter but got much better and finds the ball pretty well. Frost isn't and forward and Salem isn't a defender and both look lost out there, shove Frost to CHB, Salem to a wing. Forst offers very little forward and as nice as it is having a decent kick off half back Salem's opponent will off set that with goals/goal assists.

Will play round one, was fantastic today. -
Can't watch this live today, but I'll check Twitter and get scores, going to tape it and watch either later tonight or tommorrow. Hope the young kids can keep playing well and push the levels required to get a game up.

Saturday talking point: More attacking footy

Forgot. The major technicality was we never had the ball in the first place. -

Hard to kick goals if the ball never gets down there. -

Robbo tweeted some one died a while ago and that the family was being contacted. what a [censored]. Wait until it's announced, any one reading that that knew a Brownlow medalist would have freaked out. I'm actually a little surprised he didn't just tweet who it was.

Who would you most want to play against in a Grand Final?
Gorgoroth replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
Only 15... If we are up by 12 goals at half time I'd want a 20+ goal win. -

Cam did say he could be like Gary Ablett Snr in terms of freakish ability, but not as good. Ox actually said Trac will be the next GA snrSnr -
Never knew of this. Never heard anything about this before. I was surprised.

Christian Petracca's toe injury (in full training)
Gorgoroth replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe Trac will first do some solid weeks of training, play a half for cases, then a full game followed by another and if he plays well in both will be in line for a call up. Round 4-5 would be about what I'd expect if he plays well at Casey. -
