Both goodwin and roos would have been making moves in the box with input from other line coaches. Yes, yhe final decision lies with Roos, but be honest, when it comes down to it or players are weak minded frontrunners.

Jones is the best we have, he does as good as a good as we can ask of him. But, he does not inspire, he does not grab the club and drag them over the line, he never has and never will. Viney will hopefully one day become that player, but not as yet.

I feel similar, I live in the country and my Dad lived on the other side of Victoria so I would catch up with him at the games. Unfortunately Dad passed away in December and the long trip in to watch repeated garbage has worn me down. I truly think this year will be my last as a full member with reserved seat, think I'll get a country membership next year. I travel four hours a day for work so wasting a whole Saturday is no longer high in my list, it's taken 10 years but this club has finally broken us supporters in so many ways, I truly wish I could not care.

Can we ever expect anything with this bunch? (other than to capitulate when a Monty to win a game)

Tmac - idiot. Hogan - believing his own hype, loves a whine at the umps Nate Jones - needed to inspire and lead, failed. Viney - Was beaten soundly. Harmes - poor again Bugg - poor Watts - poor Lumumba - goodbye kent - terrible. Gawn - got slaughtered today. Salem - NOT A DEFENDER!!! Coaches - pathetic, pathetic, pathetic. Melbourne FC - Typical effort and ability. As a whole this club is super poor. They kill my love for the game, I now don't want to go to games, it's not worth the 5+ hour round trip. I'm not even angry, I just knew that we would lose, it is just typical of this club to roll over and cop a rogering from a club that on paper is worse than ourselves. Its like the players see we are favourites, put their feet up and fondle their balls all week.

It's not that we are "not that far off it" Its the fact that we do this each and every bloody time. It's like ground hog day.

I don't think the umpires have been bad. We have. None of our leaders have even stood up for a minute. Some guy wearing 43 is smashing us repeatedly, Coaches are playing Garland on Daniher while Tmac runs around looking for new ways to turn the ball over. Our tackling has been very poor, pressure non existent. Gawn is getting beaten, our players are trying to break tackles and not being able to. Can't hit a target by hand or foot whilst under a small amount of pressure, Always kicking to Hogan while all the defenders just run to him, we need to lower our eyes. Salem is wasted on the half back, doesn't get enough of it there to warrant having him there for his good kicking. Jones and Viney have been poor. Tyson still turns it over more often than not.

Can our coaches try and work something it where we don't kick to Hogan 3-1 each bloody time. Maybe hit other targets. Out coached, out classed by a VFL side that has played 6 quarters together. Where are our leaders? Jones? Gawn? Viney?
