  1. Which website are these stats from?
  2. Does anyone know the website that does age and experience comparisons for each game? We were slow and not interested enough in the chase. Need some serious sports psych! Hard to listen to that commentary barracking for Hawks all game. Hard to watch the umps gift them so many goals. Just a shocker of a night to add to this ****ful week.
  3. I emailed the MCC a month or two ago asking about the plan for finals and they said there will be no preference given to MCC members who are also fans of competing teams in the ballot system (assuming finals are also fully ticketed). I promptly upgraded to GF guarantee. Contact the club - they may still have availability
  4. Apparently Hinkley has said Butters and Clurey will come in for them and Boak will play. They won’t be far off full strength. Big test for us
  5. Terrible decision
  6. Deakyn Smith is pretty handy. Might not be ready yet but he’s better than expected
  7. We were not behind at any stage after just into the second quarter. It was never in doubt. Frustrating that they made their comeback though
  8. Whilst in hub and wife and kid back at home in Geelong
  9. He should certainly be fined. Might get a week
  10. Sparrow can play the defensive forward role melksham is playing as he did in the first few rounds of this year. Sparrow must stay in at Melksham’s expense. Regarding the Sparrow v Rich, he was trying to block rather than bump but it ended up somewhere in between. Should be a fine as the impact was very low. Fine for Zorko too
  11. A quick google says Maynard will be a free agent at the end of 2022. Would Collingwood consider trading him a year early? Ed Richards and Lipinski are also worth a look IMO.
  12. Heard some rumours Brayden Maynard might be unhappy at the Pies. I hope we are into him. Would be a great lockdown defender, super competitive and excellent kick. No idea on contract status though.
  13. Not Baker. JJ or ANB for wing (or Jones). Bring in Sparrow
  14. Baker is not AFL standard
  15. Don’t rate this win that highly. Clearances 51-24 is outrageous. Won’t be repeated when Richmond have a functioning midfield. Plus the crazy free kick differential for the first half. Brisbane did a lot of bombing. May and Lever can deal with that. Lockdown on Rich - he is their Salem. Breakeven-ish in the midfield and I think we will take them
  16. Petty for Tomlinson Sparrow for Baker (Brayshaw back to wing) Bedford for Fritsch Jones as sub
  17. Rivers
  18. I tipped the suns. Collingwood are decimated by injuries. Nothing Buckley can do about it.
  19. There were 8, although Dumont only played a half
  20. I didn’t really provide any reasons so I can understand that you couldn’t see them! Brown is A grade when up and running. He has had 2.5 VFL games and played very well, including presenting up the ground. There is no chance of dropping Fritsch, Tmac or Jackson on current form. Fritsch is not a tall though and I think we have room for another. Now that Brown is ready it’s also time to test what could be our best forward setup. Much like Jetta being dropped for Hibberd, whoever makes way for Brown will be unlucky but it will improve the team. Melksham is easily our lightest contributor in recent weeks IMO. Spargo was also weak last week but has been better prior to that. Jones isn’t going to be dropped straight after his 300. Melk played fwd/mid. Only two score involvements (nibbler/Pickett 7, Spargo 1), 2 tackles/13 pressure acts (spargo 3/12, Pickett 5/21, Nibbler 4/26). We aren’t losing much. Nibbler, Pickett plus one of Melk or Spargo will provide the forward half pressure. TMac, Fritsch and Jackson are capable of pushing up towards the wing/high half forward. We can make room whilst maintaining excellent forward pressure.
  21. Ben Brown must come in this week. Melksham is the obvious out but seemingly never gets dropped no matter his performance (and he didn’t have a bad game this time).
  22. Injuries at WCE is why
  23. Looks too good for this level but seemingly too slow for AFL
  24. Melksham should be very nervous about Bedford’s performance today
  25. Bedford sets up Chandler goal
