When you start a season the way they did with 2 wins in the first 9 games, you really need everything to go right from there and to have that happen you need a full selection at your disposal. Exactly right Gonzo, they can come and go like comets. The greatest RB of all time Jim Brown played 8 seasons. Barry Sanders 9, Terrell Davis 6 etc. I know there's longer term examples but it is a churn and burn lifestyle.
