  1. The difference is if we win it will be super glued to the TV
  2. I just get this feeling with Stephenson that he's as good as he's going to get. Not a bad thing of course and you can win flags with these guys but I wouldn't want to be overpaying him.
  3. The lisfranc is an absolute crock of an injury to get over and has hampered a lot of good players medium to long term. I think Sloane a couple of years back was the most recent to really struggle with it. Daniel Wells missed nearly a whole season, finished Dane Swan's career and I think even Mitch Clark had troubles with it. It's been likened to a car crash injury, I don't know how severe Gus' is but hopefully it can be managed, does worry me though.
  4. You know what would be a great way to increase scoring? Having players that kick through the big sticks on a regular basis! Sorry to be that guy but it would definitely help!
  5. Yeah exactly, this is always my attitude. Getting finals experience into our boys. I also believe you build success on success and the confidence comes when you reach those next levels. The upside to making it far outweighs missing it.
  6. Whoa what the actual... What even happens here? haha
  7. The fire still burns but is that going to be enough? I do feel if we have to keep either Jones or Jetta Jones may get the nod but not by much.
  8. Really appreciate the enthusiasm. Wish I could share it, still a glimmer but it doesn't look great. Hope Taberner kicks 5.
  9. Lets just win tomorrow regardless and go down in a blaze of sour grapes.
  10. Appreciate it, thank you.
  11. I don't know what you're talking about DD, the comment was tongue in cheek. No harm meant by it.
  12. Cool story.
  13. Nah, we're a lot of things but plastic isn't one of them. We're authentically crap.
  14. I hate this plastic club
  15. Well that little run is over.
  16. Oh yeah and no, not one of them interests me.
  17. Gee that's a fair few careers over in an instant.
  18. I know that last year they were really pushing the move to auto debit and after years of resisting I reluctantly agreed to it. Maybe they got a bit trigger happy with some renewals? Who knows. All I know is I'll be changing it back now.
  19. Wise there's no doubt I do somewhat see my membership payment as a donation and no matter how much I'll complain about how our membership department functions there's not even a question that I'll renew. For me it's an institution bigger than any church could ever hope to be and I will contribute because I believe in it. If there were no fans in Vic again next year I'd absolutely still be on board, whether it would be at the Trident level might be something to consider as you do expect extra perks with this level but I do share the attitude that the club has been there for me so I should be there for it. #rustedon
  20. Gee West Coast are suckers for the injury at the business end of the season. Not that anyone here minds too much!
  21. Yeah I was going to say that's exactly what it seems like! Will just have to give them a buzz tomorrow I think, tried today but couldn't get through.
  22. Well, there goes that theory Old Dee! I think this is fair though it would just be nice for a bit more water to go under the bridge first.
  23. I only got the one email as well but I'm also Trident. Could be Something in that.
  24. NFL
