Our Best 22
With all the changes recently the boot studder is probably in the best 22 depending on what day it is.

Are We The Mentally Weakest Side Ever?
We're just as bad as those bumblefoots. No use using someone else to make us feel better.

NON MFC: Round 16
Yeah not feeling great after that loss to them last week.

NON MFC: Round 16
Realistically I'd say we win 1 of 2 but that doesn't mean much. We have GWS and Essendon and the Blues have Adelaide and Bris so they are both interesting runs home. Just annoying seeing Carlton win to be honest, in general.

NON MFC: Round 16
I wish I shared your optimism in winning the last two TU. I really do.

Gone off a cliff
There's two things that have been apparent with every Melbourne team for the last decade and at various moments over that time we've repeatedly heard these lines and it's getting boring: - Don't hurt opposition by foot - Gap between best and worst is too big. Please fix.

NON MFC: Round 16
Well if Carlton pip the Swans that sure doesn't help the la la Landers

Oh, the irony
Wow talk about complete crap for an excuse. This is no.1 one in the several steps of MFC loser denial, finding something or someone to blame.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
My limited edition guernsey has arrived today. Last Wednesday I emailed the demon shop (After several emails) asking if I could get a number put on it. They did eventually respond asking which number to which I replied no.11 but didn't hear again. Concerned how quickly it's arrived considering this change request but also not giving two hoots about anything today: When I open the parcel, the limited edition guernsey will be: A) With the number requested despite usually having to pay extra for numbers and super quick dispatch. Ie. the best customer service in the history of the world B) With no number, info wasn't passed to the factory in time and dispatch went out. Answers on a postcard...

Who should our next GM be?
Let's get someone from NASA. They could put a man on the moon quite easily I'm sure reaching the 8 would be a piece of cake for them.

Who should our next GM be?
Good thinking but the success of FSG and their model is that they own the club and bring in the right people who know the game back to front for these positions. We do need to find the edge though.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
It's nice to know that in a compromised season that is affecting every single team it's the Melbourne Footy Club that gets to throw in the towel first because it's all too much. I wouldn't have expected it any other way to be frank. Makes perfect sense and shows just why we're in the shape we're in. When the pressure is on, we go to water. Been happening for years and won't change. Only the strongest survive.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
Any silver lining chasers are welcome but the fact of the matter is we are running out of ideas and 'things to try'. - We tried dropping the captain, one of our best but running players and our best key forward to send a message. - We tried having the president giving them a spray - We tried making copious changes to get the mix right, speed one week and brawn the next. - We tried making 7 changes for fresh legs - We tried persisting with the game plan - We tried bombing it long - We tried kicking it short - We tried bringing in a new director of coaching - We tried bringing in a world renowned fitness guy We have pretty much tried everything and have run out of ideas. It's an understatement to say the team has regressed, at the start of this season I would have said we didn't have the skill but at least they are following the plan. Now I'm not even convinced they want to follow that plan now. People are saying to me "at least there will probably be a shake up" what shake up? We're stuck with this situation and these guys have a perfect out with the debacle of a year 2020 is. Coaching staff are probably assured of next year too, worse than government bureaucrats. They can all stick it as far as im concerned.

Another Covid breach by Richmond
Thank you, glad I was on the money because it honestly felt like I'd missed a crucial bit of info. I'd be hoping a leader in that position would slam that behaviour and not play the good bloke card.
