Game plans, tactics and all that jazz
Too true. I decided yesterday that I wanted to see what our scoring from forward 50 stoppage ratio was, being 2020 all sorts of stats are available right? Wrong. I spent a wild goose chase trying to find this across many different sites and nothing like it exists, not even at the basic level like stoppages inside 50 total.

Neil Balme potentially leaving Richmond
Definitely worth the thought.

Tanking made easy.
It's stupid but I can't help but feel this isn't the last of this.

Nailed it.

The 2020 Trade Period
Mason Wood is garbage now, talk about a fall from grace. Let North keep those jobber types

Fair enough, cheers for the insight!

Assistant Coaches 2021
Plapp moved to forward coach a few weeks ago? If that's the case we really seem to love this shuffling of the deck chairs mid season trick don't we.

Proud to Belong, Proud to Give
Beat St Kilda and I'll chuck in more

Nah stuff it, too much trouble comes with it.

It's incredible to see the effect that this had on the wider community and is a good reminder that most people do have a generous side and a willingness to help out when it's needed even despite what we are currently going through. I myself wanted to chuck in a donation his but by the time I went to the Go Fund Me page it had been closed! Fantastic story, and I was really glad to see Matt Finnis stepping up on a personal level in St Kilda's apology, it helps much more when there is a name put to these things rather than general press statements.

Racial vilification of Kozzy
I think the club have done this perfectly on this occasion. A general statement and a description of the action taken, we've passed the point of drawing attention to the actual content or what was said and we all have a rough idea of what it involves so there is no more need to keep giving these blockheads the time of day. I couldn't be prouder to be part of a club and also a community like Demonland that won't tolerate this kind of behaviour even for a second.

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
And so like punching, the AFL condones staging. Long may it continue..

Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
"Uneasy lies the head who wears the crown" This line may explain Richmond from a performance level but from an integrity and decency point of view it's a huge cop out.

CHANGES: Rd 14 vs St Kilda
All I could glean from the match report was that he 'stood out with his speed' which is encouraging I guess.

1990 Elimination Final
Geez I'd love another monitor so I can watch these in full while doing work

Nibbler Suspended for 4 Weeks
I get your thinking on the outcome element. There was a time when we judged these things purely on intent and the outcome or level of damage was not as much of a consideration. This has changed and is still very much taking some getting used to.

Great first post and love the name mate! That UP differential while shocking sort of makes sense but the mark differential is astounding. I'd love there to be a better explanation for this but could it purely just be a case of a team that can bring that relentless spread and running one week and not be willing to back it up the next and just assuming it will happen? I guess that's what we're here for, to discuss

Charlie Spargo
3rd in our B & F last year but we can't read into that season too much fair enough, who should come in for him?

THE RUN HOME 2020
Wow, I knew this was a tough ask but looking at the chart I'm even more depressed. Can you really see this team winning 4 from 5? I'll live in hope but gun to head I'd say we're winning 2 maybe 3 at best from that bunch. Something you'd expect from a perfectly average team.

That's true, there are often games where it feels like Viney is the only one really standing up and working through the tough periods.

I'm all for the idea of trying Viney or Harmes up forward right now, if nothing else just to give the forward line some jumpstart. Our forward line needs to be hard to play against and I feel these moves could help there.
