  1. I agree, it is definitely not good enough especially when you pay what you do. Your seat is your seat and they should start fining people for abusing this.
  2. That's a lot of dosh
  3. Surprise suprise it's Murdoch and Stokes again. It is interesting that the massive CH9 bid didn't get too far.
  4. The anti siphoning laws are ridiculously out of date anyway, especially since streaming came onto the scene.
  5. Certainly is, espcially when we only scored once from defensive 50 transition,
  6. Good day for it.

Yeah about that, Hammers were robbed a point in my opinion. I know we don't like to point to officiating but taking away their late equaliser when Mendy has decided to come out and smother while Bowen tried to leap over and at very worst may have caught Mendy with a trailing foot but otherwise no contact. To reverse that decision is a joke. Thought Michael Owen summed it up perfectly in the post game when he said he has been penalised for getting to it first, something you expect a striker to be doing and on the flip side as a keeper if you elect to go in then you risk wearing some contact but it's fair game. A shame because it was a really exciting London derby, great to watch.
  8. Chicken and egg scenario I guess. Could Bedford and Chandler have been better prospects if they had the game time this year to aid their development or do they just not cut it at the level in the first place? That one is for the court of Demonland to decide..
  9. I'm warming to the idea of bringing Bowey in. Or at least trying Salem HFF if he is struggling to get into the game down back .
  10. One thing I'll agree with you on is kicking low to space. I wish we would try this out a bit more. Ping it around in the 50 and worst case scenario it goes out of bounds anyway.
  11. Nice of them to assume we actually want to hear them.
  12. Major bummer, sorry to hear. Knowing them they probably advertised it as 'seats to the game' and didn't say where they would be. That Swans fan would have been annoying, what was ana example of some of his running commentary? I went with my usual mate and his dad but also one of his mates who is an Essendon fan. To his credit he just wanted to come and watch a good game but he had obviously jumped on Sydney to rib us and the other thing that was driving me nuts was that he'd made a same game multi and needed Viney for most disposals. So every two seconds if he wasn't cheering for Sydney he's be yelling "get it to Viney, give it back to him, give and get Jack!". We've all done it, I do it. It's the kind of thing you do when you don't have a dog in the fight but man I don't have time for ti sometimes!
  13. Was it though Von? They got us on clearances, worked harder on the outside, brought more forward pressure with 25 tackles inside 50 to our 13. They were brutal decisions that went against us but on balance they were clearly the better side and I'm not convinced that they wouldn't have scored anyway without those frees and 50s.
  14. You just have to ask yourself, if you were Sydney or any team playing against us and saw what we were offering would you be scared? As a defence give me predictability that occasionally results in a goal over turnovers in terrible positions that almost always lead to scores.
  15. You could almost say he has a one Trac mind.
  16. The ‘lean back’ motion is something you’d probably be emphasising when you’d looking for distance over accuracy. Starting with your head over the ball then ripping into it. I don’t think that you need to keep the head perfectly over the ball all the way through the motion but inside 30 or 40 metres I’d be hoping for a more vertical finishing position. It might be a balancing act because you always want to make sure you have the measure but leaning back like those photos suggests introduces another variable which is balance. If the balance is slightly off on the follow through, well, you know what will happen.
  17. Yeah that's a trick used often for the interstate games as well.
  18. Haha I hear ya, there's every chance this could be me this week. Managed to get off a bit early last week and wasn't counting on having to use that card again!
  19. You'd know better than me El Diablo, haven't been to Barca I just always assumed that Catalan spirit could get loud sometimes! Maybe it's a Spanish football thing to just sit back and enjoy the magic 😀
  20. Hey I’m Barca over Real every day of the week! Madrid just fits the criteria perfectly! They love to go to the football and be wowed in that city, not really ones to create that ‘12th man’ atmosphere
  21. Good comparisons. Those teams fans are also like Liverpool/Man Utd and we're more like Real Madrid, football is theatre.
  22. Force turnovers, minimise our own turnovers. Sounds simple but that's what it comes down to.
  23. I've rarely bothered with trains lately. Since Covid they've been a hunk of junk and seem to either run a lot less or have replacement busses you only find out about at the last minute. So unreliable.
  24. Salo started reasonably well but then they sent Clarke to him and he slowed down dramatically. Clarke has got quite the list now of putting the brakes on rebound HBFs. I agree he's been down and who knows how badly the knee is affecting his game but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt this week.
  25. There's only one Allen Jakovich!
