What has changed in the way we play. I don't believe our defence is playing as well as they could but I can't help but think these high scores we are conceding are partially by design. Are we pressing higher up the ground? Are we playing faster and 'embracing' the imperfections more? A month ago I wouldn't have fancied Melbourne in a shootout but now we seem like a team that doesn't care how many points the oppo scores as long as we score more!

I said during the game that we probably needed to turn it into a scores from clearance game to win and 76 points from clearances says it all. They stood up when it counted.
