One of if not my all time favourite. The #5 at this club means a lot to me, he was the first player I saw who wore the club on his sleeve, through the good and the bad times.

Not surprised with Culley and his endeavour. You need people like this when you're in the place we're in right now. I'm thinking Rd 1 is very possible.

So they've pretty much taken the peninsula off us and given it to St Kilda so they can look like Italy on the map. Yay. I know this is based on population or NGA player numbers that have come out of these areas but it feels a bit meh.

I would agree that on field he was trying and did have some injuries that didn't help at all. The point is though that the club did not want him around anymore and were willing to take less and pay more to move him on. The people in charge have looked foolish at times but they wouldn't be stupid. It's a new day and we need to move forward into a new era.

From my knowledge it's much more widespread in the APS now.

Even though streaming makes it easy to get lazy and pick and choose tracks I too like to stick with LPs as much as possible. There are certain bands where there's really no other way of doing it. And as you say, the thrill and anticipation of a new album coming out is something that is lost now. The 'what the consumer had to do in order to get this' factor did contribute to the overall experience. I wasn't around for the Beatles phenomenon but I can still remember the day I'd saved up to buy a copy of What's the Story Morning Glory by Oasis at Kew Records and Video. The day, the walk to the store, it felt like I had really earned good music if that makes any sense. I didn't have to turn the disc over but I did have to weigh down the CD player lid with a VHS box set to get it working 😜

It would have an effect on him mentally which isn't ideal. To be honest his build is the least of my worries. Will Darcy is a beanpole but do you reckon they won't be giving him a fair crack at this AFL thing? Not bloody likely. The upside is enough to warrant being a project player and Kalani will get the best guidance in order to build his frame and learn the ropes. I think these new ruck rules might actually help him with the ability to jump early etc.

I still want to see what his run and jump is like and if it's the same as Jeff's.

Yeah there's plenty of great new music out there, the landscape has just changed so much. Full LPs don't mean what they used to. Makes you wonder how a Led Zeppelin would fare today. However it is a good feeling when you discover a good new artist.

Toumpas was widely considered one of the very top midfielders in that draft and all experts projected him going at our pick. I don't recall one that had Wines ahead of him, some even had him out of their top 5 picks so our selection was hardly a shock to anyone. The doubting only started when we stunk up the joint and Wines got the RS nomination in literally the first game of 2013, couldn't have scripted it better. I'm all for giving Watts an out for what he came into as long as it applies to others. Let's hope JT strikes gold again.
