  1. He looked like Rankine in that North practice match. All down from there.
  2. It feels like it takes an eternity to get there and a split second to knock it all down..
  3. Completely unrelated but sharing for a larf. Years ago I went to a muso and footy star Q & A thing at the Corner Hotel with Cameron Ling and Paul Dempsey (Something for Kate). Lingy said that James Kelly was notorious for starting tertiary courses but never finishing them, was pushing double figures apparently.
  4. I would bet on it
  5. He makes the greatest case since Barass and Tulip for no.1
  6. We want experience. There shouldn't be any ambiguity about this. It's very simple.

Certainly a strange GM/Owner in the way he deals with players. Yet he does have a record of talking loads of bullocks and then paying the guy. I'm not sure this will end up that way though. My guess is he'll be a Bill or Packer

It's interesting but also not. They probably tossed a coin.
  9. Just a shame Doggies fans had to trust Essendon. I know they've had injuries galore but they've been getting way too much of a pass for mine.
  10. Definitely a tough call, his son is around 17? Hope it all works out for them.
  11. Happy trails Jayden. A true fan favourite, at a time when we badly needed one too. There aren't many true good blokes in the game but he is one.
  12. I would bank it that he'll be working for one of those clubs in the near future.
  13. Reasonable news. We need them.
  14. Bartel's experience is pretty good. He was on the GWS board from 2018 - 2024 and was actively involved in list decisions and re-structuring of their FD, he also played a part in getting Kingsley the coaching job. Before that he'd been a part-time list management consultant at Brisbane. He knows what he's doing and has a lot of experience in building lists and developing footy clubs. If there was half a chance I would be all in.
  15. It sounds like it should be called the Chief Football Operations role.
  16. I'd like to know what our time in deficit and average per game was. Not that it's a like for like comparison due to the differing game styles but in our flag year I'd be pretty sure the time in front figure was high.
  17. You should still be able to speak your mind, especially with family. The older generation's thinking might be different but not always tone deaf. Conversations help us all grow.

When did he win flags at Collingwood?
  19. Great post Gonzo.
  20. I'm good with all 3. They can easily turn into quality performers. Good job guys
  21. Gee he must really love the Dees.
  22. If you love footy, you just love watchig this guy. He's gonna be the ultimate metres gained player.
  23. I'll take the new ball. What does 'forgetting how to win' even mean? These guys train from Summer untill now but it's all moot? We can talk about how the game style has started to take shape (Which I agree with) but psychologically the problems have been exactly the same all season reverting back to old habits when the pressure gets dialed up. Perhaps change is going to be a welcome thing.
  24. Good job Joeboy. Time for a much earned rest.
