  1. They should make it only Aussie music or music in the last 3 years so it can be used to promote up and coming artists. If I want to hear someone's playlist I'll go to a house party.
  2. Elephant in the room on that Clarry post game interview is him saying that he rocked up to pre-season in bad shape and 'fat'. Glossed past faster than a speeding bullet and kudos to him for getting his act together with the likes of Whits and Ashy by his side but if you were going to a new footy club with the hope of piecing back together your footy career, wouldn't you be aiming rock up to pre season in very very good shape and make a good impression? We haven't heard the last of this. Just wait.
  3. Dimma might have done something that game but Dean Wallis gave him the left hook that damaged his larynx.

I'd be doing it that way. Build depth in other positions for now, I can see a lot of teams being disappointed drafting QBs in the first round this season. But then again we're just fans who don't know anything.

Mendoza and Simpson are the only ones who played 15 I think. And that's part of the problem, if it's not a lack of starting experience it's guys with reasonable arms under 6 foot or a bunch of guys who were injured this year.
  6. We'll see. I'm not certain any of you are right at the moment but in time someone will be.
  7. Let's all get along.
  8. We need an uprising.

I'd much rather be drafting for a backup QB than a franchise QB in this draft. Just doesn't seem to be a lot of wow factor in this class.

Very happy with it. Kind of surprised it only took that much to get him out of there.

Huge get. I can see him having a defensive player of the year season on the Ravens. Also Rashan Gary to the Cowboys?
  12. We'll come back to this in time to see if it's been a good deal or not I'm sure.
  13. One game guys, one game.. Let's not pretend that these two didn't have the odd ripping game in the last two seasons. I mentioned in the Clarry thread his Round 1, 2024 game against the Dogs. Had they both played stinkers do you think these boards would have been quiet? Not likely. They were great but let's see how it unfolds.
  14. Well spoken and the fresh air that we probably needed. I think we are now seeing the reason he was chosen as he's able to get a crystal clear image of how he wants to go about things and convey it to others easily.
  15. How many times did Clarry give a post game interview with us? Fantastic today. It is a long season however and it's not like we haven't seen this before like in Rd 1 2024 when he came back with that stellar performance against the dogs. One swallow doesn't make a summer.
  16. Both guys wanted to make a statement and did it. Long season ahead though.
  17. Think the ticket prices for the death ride dropped a bit this week in a flash sale...
  18. Clayton has a bit of the Dave Mustaine about him being fired from Metallica and then claiming he was trying to quit a few times before they beat him to the punch. Honestly I expected this and it's not a terrible thing. He's realised it was the change he needed. Whether he needed it initially is another thing, I thought we were a pretty good team in 2023 challenging for a flag and all. If he ends up playing good footy then power to him.
  19. Impact per possession wise I think he'll be the best in the comp when the year is out.
  20. He dominated

  22. Smith is way off
  23. I thought your defensive pressure was right on point in the first half No. 31 and it does look like they want to move it more aggressively this season with different angles. Walsh looks as fit as he's ever been. I didn't catch much of the second half so I'm just going off how the scoring unfolded but do you think the overall fitness is there for the Blues? Their ability to run out games has been a bit suspect in recent times.

Rams going all in! Huge get. Heard the Giants were in for him but they need to hold onto their picks more than you guys. Chiefs get a reasonable return considering he's an impending free agent. Need to nail these picks but I think they can get by without some all pros on defense as long as Spagnolo is there. Having said that all pro CBs don't generally come cheap anyway. Very good business by LA.

I just realised I said I wouldn't mind seeing him play on the G and then said I'd rather he stay out of the NFC West if it's not us. The production team screwed up on that one.
